Guitar Hero 7 was canceled in 2011. Activision is too focused on CoD right now anyway.

HiddenTalent77 It got cancelled because they were making the controller really weirdly. It had buttons like normal but instead of a strum bar it had strings.

They literally milked it to death, people were tired of it so they stopped buying it. I can't imagine it would be different a second time.

MDG397 I think they should let it rest for a few years (note, by a few I mean 10 at least) and then bring it back with a decade's worth of new songs, and focus more on releasing new songs instead of new games. It's no surprise that Rock Band is still selling and releasing new songs, I think.

Pashow What they should do is mix in some new songs (cough Imagine Dragons cough) with some older songs (cough AC/DC cough Queen cough Eagles cough) so they have some for everyone.

same. I had the wii version as a child (i am much older now) And never used the nintendo wifi at all which with gh3 you can play online but not download the dlc. I didnt get a xbox 360 till 2012, and not until 2015, where i had FINALLY got every guitar hero for 360 (exlcuding rock the 80's since it was a ps2 exclusive) Got 3 controllers and a rockband drum set(that would work with the games except the game would recommend buying a guitar hero drum set, which are very hard to find "new and in the box" for a good price, as i would like a unused drum set to lower the chances of it breaking right away) Oh btw the controllers were: Black Wireless Les Paul, White Wired X-plorer, Guitar hero 5 Controller(Which isnt much different from the world tour guitar except the strum bar wasnt plastic)The drum set was from rockband 1 (Im not going to get a really nice drum set since i can barely play any song on medium)
