It's not about P4 being late, it's about end game content that don't exist in P3, raid is fine for me but it's 60 min a week and logout for 7 days, kinda boring we simply have to hibernate mode now.
Maybe unpopular opinion but why can't we talk about flex raids? I am not a big fan of retail, but I thought that was one thing they did right. Everyone has an opinion on what is best 10/20/25/40. Flex basically solves that.
SoD has been a ton of fun. As far as I’m concerned there have only been three failures in the whole thing so far. Moving from 10 to 20 man raids, the state of PvP imbalance, and of course incursions. The only reason I’m not playing SoD right now is because my server was killed and with it my guild. Community is such a huge part of what makes any Classic-like version of WoW enjoyable for me.
Only big problem was Incursions they should have just put that when u get 50 u get just rep and buff rep like 3x to not make it pain in ass, with doing that u stop people farming it and have to go out in world. Raids should be 20 so u get feeling of threat of boss if it all 10 man it dont have same feeling same as 40 man raids they where fun just becuase u need a lot of people to kill it
This Is a very personal comment, but I love they are really taking their time to both give us an amazing phase4 and as well let us get up to date with other alts with the extent of p3
this like who had time to farm all reps,proffesion,honor,raiding we not all streamers and i like to do a lot of stuff besides wow, but somehow we are problem hahahaha. SOD should last 2 years minium
they are not taking the time to give you an 'amazing phase 4'.They are just working on cataclysm and phase 3 is broken, without updates and loosing players for over a month now. Astonishing how people believe the shit they post

Second - this game has 20 years and all of us don't need a Nobel prize to know that releasing Cata, SoD and retail content in same time is a bad idea.
All you had to do was look at the announced Cata release schedule, the Classic WoW timeline, and the fact that they changed lockouts from 3 to 7 days, and it was obvious that phase 3 was going to be longer than previous phases. They have one team working on four different versions of Classic, and the one they’ve committed to is the one that brings in the most microtransactions. I also think they intended to have more time for SOD between Cata launch, but it ended up being a much buggier mess than anticipated. Either way, I’ve been saying late June for phase 4, and if we get a PTR in 2-3 weeks and then the phase in 3-4 weeks, that still lines up. It’s just hard to tell if “delay” means 6 weeks or 3 months.
right, and what happens when phase 4 comes out and it ISN'T phenomenal? anything short of phenomenal won't cut the cheese after a delay. i'm tired of giving blizzard the benefit of the doubt.
I would not trust these devs about "brand new and unique content to classic" because the last time they hyped that up all we got was a few really godawful heirloom items in the supply rep vendor. Temper your expectations people.
I have a sneaky suspicion molten core and bwl will have season of mastery mechanics. I’m fine with that if the new content is good that they are working on
Seems like they are purposefully waiting for phase 4 to try and get people to play Cataclysm Classic and Pandaria Remix. For me and my guild SOD is dead and the devs have just opted to let it stay dead and rot...I don't know if phase 4 will be able to ressurect SOD
Lets be honest...in the end...this is the only phase that counts or actually matters...so taking more time...for SOD...if that's really the case is fair and expected...that being the fact as well as a PTR is reassuring for the majority of us I'd wager
WoW’s audience has changed. It was the Fortnite of its time, filling 40 mans was easier than it would be today. I say make raids 15 man (the sweet spot between the two), or to keep the large raid feel of 40 mans make the larger raids like MC/BWL 25 mans & the others 15
Listen to what you people are excited about....a delay in content so you can snot wipe lvl/gear out your alt "stable of whores". SOD went from an amazing, relaxing P1 pace that allowed time for pvp shenanigans into an alternative gearing factory for folks desperately chasing some dopamine hit off of an upgraded shoulder for their 4th alt and we aren't even in P4. A disaster is the best word to describe the grotesquely bloated beast SoD is now.
ill never understand peopel complaining about the phases being too long. We have been clearing it since launch and still havent even seen multiple items drop once. People just need to complain about something. It's summer time, go outside and relax a little if you need something to do
The issue with hinting at something really big is if they fail at this something really big then they'll lose so many subs. They need to make sure to deliver So many of my guild members are sick of ST already. Phase 3 has next to nothing enjoyable to do besides ST and even that's starting to run it's coarse.
They need to do the follow: 1) reduce raids to 10 mans or introduce flex raiding 2) remove WB/consume concept, reduce the amount used(this is going to get worse at 60) or WB only be useable in outside world Parsing in classic and in SoD is still not accurately capturing skill level. Getting all WB/consumes to kill a boss in 15-20 seconds and avoid mechanics doesn’t make you good. It’s the equivalent of attacking a training dumbing and calling yourself good lol

@@weeb1854 it’s clear you don’t play the game otherwise you would know that this is normal in speed clears. Do some research and watch the Parsing teams get full WB/consumes/flasks and It will happen. A warrior can pop death wish (30 seconds) at the start of a boss fight and still have It up before the boss dies.
You should stop with the ‘premieres’ on every video, as if you’re about to drop some game changing news. All you’re doing is infuse fake hype. Time and time again I feel tricked into clicking on your video only for it to completely under deliver on what your ‘premiere’ announcements and titles promise. As a viewer it doesn’t make me feel respected and in general makes you come across insincere.
If a creator has to resort to clickbait it means it’s a good time to unsubscribe. Slowly turning into one of those creators that milks even the smallest slimmer of info into an entire 10 minute video.

mop remix is just retail, i have 0 interest in retail, if i wanted to play retail, id play retail, i dont need a 90 day limited mop opportunity to know that i am not interested in retail, i dont need a retail version of mop to know that i have 0 interest in mop
My issue is all this post tells me is the classic team is small and WoW is split into too many versions. Cata had a huge drop off and all its rerelease is going to do is kill SoD while Cata collapses too.
I canceled my sub at the end of April. They NEEDED a PTR. The incursions exp/gold debacle would have been avoided and we can't have another ef up like that again. Class balance is equally crucial for end game, especially since there will be so much more content with MC/BWL/AQ/NAX in the next phase. I might come back.
30% dmg reduction is nice. but then 30% healing reduction kind of seems like they might aswell not change anything. i play Hpala and already it feels impossible to heal most dmg in bg`s. People are instantly dropping. ele shamans are tanking out 3-4 people with one chain lightning. and throw a Mortal strike in there and its gg might aswell just stand around and wait to die.
I have NO idea why so many people complain, that the release schedule of all phases is too long. In my opinion every phase should at least last 6 months. Guys, why the rush? Have you collected every rune in every class? Have you BiS gear on every class and specc in the game? Did you rank up all classes to rank 7? Did you grind exalted on every class in the game? Sad thing about this fast schedule is that you cant make this experience with all the cool classes in wow. Phase 1, awesome! But this unique experience is gone forever, and i was only able to make this experience with two classes. Id loved to have more time to make a phase 1 or 2 experience with a warrior, or a priest, or a shaman or a druid. They even try to make playing alts and leveling more attractive trough xp boost. I think most ppl complaining about slow progress just are focussed on 1 class and their raid logs, skipping so much adorable content. So again the question to all: Why the rush?
Pretty simple really. Get rid of large raids and let max raid size be 10 or 20. The only difference between the two being the amount of loot drops per raid. There are years of proof that large raids.....don't do all that well as opposed to smaller raid sizes. Stop being stubborn!
I’m glad they are taking their time and delaying P4 but to me doing a PTR to test class balance etc just screams how understaffed they are. They obviously don’t have a big enough team to do it themselves so they need our help. In saying that I enjoy testing stuff so I’m looking forward to it haha.
maybe im not optimistic as you but i dont see the point telling everyone the phase is extended if its only 2-3 weeks. this is gonna be little less then 2 months which wont kill the game but will severely damage it. ( i hate cata so much)
Agreed since they said this is the longest phase. It will be no earlier then June 20th or June 27th which would be 11 or 12 weeks of phase 3. Previous longest phase was phase 1 at 10 weeks
June 20th or June 27th release date for phase 4. They said phase 3 is the longest phase and phase 1 was 10 weeks so we know this phase will atleast be 11 weeks putting us at minimum June 20th. I personally believe it will be June 27th release at 12 weeks of phase 3
waiting another 2+ months, only to get MC 20 and ony is not good.. The fact they did not give us anything to get hyped about waiting for is sad. Letting us know they were working on a new raid (Hype) Telling us the old 60 raids would be 5 man heroics to gear up for the new raids. (hype) A new classic battle ground (Hype) but we got.. longer wait... same 2 raids we have done many time now already. classic, classic mastery, hard core, and the first time 20 years back. To get this message after going radio silent for so long and nothing to be hyped about. My guild left retail for classic, we left cata for SOD. since cata is no longer classic. This is killing my guild, having nothing to do..
If they had touched warrior rage it would have just showed they don't understand classic as a game and its player base. I'm not even playing a warrior right now and I would have unsubbed if they touched rage.
The pvp nerfs/adjustments are garbage for mage. In no realm should arcane blast be hitting for the more than pyroblast. Mages can be one shot by everything while they are shooting water guns at everyone else. Also even thinking about 20 man vs 40 man is a mistake. 20 mans keep a lot of players out of ST and it will be worse with 40 man's. In fact it was vanilla biggest problems.
Incursions killed SoD. They ruined the open world, leveling, economy, and were a waste of resources they could have used into fun things to do at 50. Like arenas with cosmetic rewards. Or new bgs. Or new open world quests with actual storylines.
It's too late for me, they already lost me. I could not keep up, and I cannot play catch up. They really should have thought about the grind and fatigue factor on a seasonal version of WoW.
Class Rework = Bad For PvP... unless the WoW Dev Team MAGICALLY hired someone who knows how to Balance PvP. I predict Homogenization. All classes can self heal... all classes have a bubble... all classes are hyper mobile...
Mists of Pandaria is where it's at right now, in my opinion . I just hope Blizzard adds the same elements into the new expansion War Within . In which it would make the new expansion fun to play .
Imo they failed sod, taking the team off to do other shit constantly has in essence completely derailed sod. The pacing is all over the place and to just get class balance at 60 and 2 old raids for p4? Dont get me wrong i want the balancing but lmao they should have been doing that shit all along not wait till 60 and be like ummm guys we need extra time to do our... jobs?

Sod right now is horrible. I have a lvl 50 druid I am raidlogging. Other than Raidlogging i could do STV pvp, but healing SOD PVP is atrocious. Then I have an alt Rogue lvl 39, but since the goddamn Incursion loot is so good Im forced to grind incursions to get that character ready to to lvl 50 content or noone will play with me... Its making lvling that character more feel like a chore, Incursions are so boring Id rather play something else... Which makes me only raidlog SOD. Im allready close to BIS geared both pvp and PVE, and I only play 2 - 3 hours 3 - 4 days a week mostly... Blizzard is losing my interest again....
I know I’m only one sub. I know my opinion might not even be a majority. However I know I’m not the only one with this opinion. The whole point of SOD was to try new things. To make meme specs competitive. And all the devs have given us was the opposite. Classic era Chad classes are even better than in era and the meme specs are even more meme. Not fun. Not compelling. Un inspired. Not to mention Killing guilds ISN’T a good look on the devs. Now lvling is even a meme. Bilz over the last 10 years has shown us to not trust their carrot on a stick empty promise meta. We see them. We know them. Show us how great you make sod. Until then the devs are just talking.
My guess is Blizz knows Remixes and CATA won't have as great an impact then SoD. So they have put SoD on ice to reduce competition for the other two releases. And hope to shift the SoD player base to their other products initial releases to pump the numbers. Just gives me time to enjoy my SoD toons more. I stopped jumping through Blizz's hoops a while ago. Making SoD less enjoyable.... does NOT make CATA a great xpac by comparison. Regardless of how many streamers are saying watch my vid to see how great CATA is. CATA was never a great xpac... then or now.
I played CATA when it first dropped. Now here I am playing SoD on the deadworld formally know as Lava Lash NA.... and enjoying myself here on SoD, beyond whatever CATA has to offer the second time round. Don't think turning off SoD will send the player base to whatever product of Blizz's choosing. I came back to wow to play SoD, not MoP, and definitely not CATA.
Time we petition for Flexi Raid, i.e with a minimum of 10 men to a maximum if 20 men. It should save alot if heartache when it comes to arranging raids, i suppose.
These pvp depuff have ruined pvp in my opinion. it anti fun. the health bonus we get in pvp is point less right now. this debuff may feel less bad if they remove that.
Yea I don't get how people want something that does NOT feel like classic. It should be bursty. You could not outlive a warrior that critted with WF and you can get killed in 3 globals by a caster. That's the way it should be in order to feel like classic.
@@Fridolin.745 its not even I want it to feel like classic. I just don't want to feel weaker in pvp. it doesn't make sense when there is no pvp stat in classic. i would cutt this debuff in half and raise the health bonus by 10% but really I think its useless to have in place.
All they're trying to do is bring retail back to life lol they need to stop and just concentrate on SOD lol.. retail is dead. i think 4k people were watching the tourny on twitch.. or make a new game.. WOW2 and just leave wow in the past to die.
Phase three is the worse phase so far. I can't put my finger on what exactly makes this phase bad, but it just does not feel engaging. The bad loot in ST definitely has a part in it. This news made me unsubscribe.
