I've been having the same thoughts for years; I often can't get myself to do things that I want to do, and I've wondered why. Maybe with some medication, life won't be so hard. It's worth giving it a try.

To be fair, I also think I have undiagnosed ADHD and I pretty much handle it by having a diet energy drink or coffee every morning until the point where I can focus. It's really not that hard to self medicate if you don't have weird hangups about it.
Procrastination is part of ADHD and also a symptom of depression with whole kinda "shutting down and freezing and not being able to make decisions" So honestly, medication-wise, an antidepressant could be the best drug since it would help the underlying cause and not just hopping you up on stimulants. Hope you read my other post, Scott. You are right. Amphetamines or Ritalin arent the answer. Oh and one other use for Amphetamines besides weight loss and ADHD is for pilots in the military. Usually Dexedrine and they call them "go pills" Theres a slight difference chemically between Dexedrine and Adderall but i dont need to explain Stereo-isomers and the difference between Racemic and Non Racemic compounds
