I've come across many church's/places of worship that have the term "Apostolic" & "Pentecostal" within their registered title/name. I guess they're implying that the two are related to each other which is what i always thought. But like you said, being Apostolic indicates a certain belief while the term Pentecostal refers to specific biblical events or an experience. I think the question then becomes, do u need a Pentecostal(such as in Acts 2) experience first in order to be deemed an Apostolic? And could the Apostles really be considered "Apostles" without having a "Pentecostal experience" or without carrying out "Pentecostal" acts? Lastly, i feel like many will wonder how one can be an Apostolic and not carry the title "Apostle". This is a very interesting topic. No need to reply to this comment but perhaps more clarification and further detail in a future video would be helpful. I hope I made sense lol
I love this comment and your concern and there definitely will be another video on this where we hope to address your questions. To answer the questions until a more in-depth video is done though, no I don’t believe one needs a Pentecostal experience in order to become an apostolic. You can in fact have your Pentecostal experience while conforming to the doctrine of apostolicism. The Apostles were considered Apostles before the Pentecostal experience, I believe the Pentecostal experience just sealed the deal for them or as we sometimes call it, the icing on the cake. Lets get deeper into these questions in our next video.
