The Difference Between Starred and Important In Gmail

(Mobile app) Is there a reason why the little yellow “important tag” icon dosent show up on my other gmail accounts? It only shows up on one account. So my emails that I marked as important don’t get the little yellow icon next to it..😕

The Gmail mobile app also allows us to receive notifications for only messages marked "Important". Flagging important/unimportant messages can also control our notification frequencies.
