The differences between a vintage 1967 and a newer 2001 Coleman Lantern. Includes a mantle change. 

This video compares a 1967 and a 2001 Coleman Lantern. It also shows you how to find the date on your lantern. Besides being two different colors, the vintage is built more ruggedly. The newer one is perhaps a bit brighter, and has the ability to burn two different types of fuel. They both use #21 mantle. One new mantle after the initial burn had a tear in it. I was able to replace the mantle. They both work fine. It's good that Coleman continues making hard working camping equipment for those of us who like to camp.
