As we watch a video where the market is selling wigs and backpacks…..how does that relate to farmers At least a farmers market in the USA suggests that products come from a farm. Otherwise it’s a flea market

Guides placed right here commonly working. The Dinner Bell: A Dutch-Inspired Brunch in the Netherlands
I enjoyed this episode so much, I loved the host, she was extremily funny, the brunch looked amazing, the poffertjes dude was hilarious and it's nice to see my country on Munchies.
+DivineStyleGaming I'm Dutch, and yes, Amsterdam is tiny. You can barely call it a real city (it's more of a large town, The Netherlands don't have any real large cities like London, Paris, Madrid etc)
+Amozmusicmaker not really true. Amsterdam has about the double amount of sitizens (do i write it right??) as Manchester and almost double the amount of sitizens as liverpool.
I went to this little pancake shop when I was in Amsterdam, they served it with maple syrup and a cold glass of milk, it was the best pancakes I've ever had, something about the dairy there that is very delicious.
The chocolate sniffing thing combined with the amount of icing sugar on those tiny pancakes... this man might have some cocaine related obsessive issues haha
+VanillaLooks you surely forgot that about the vegie lovers that do not eat meat and stuff. I, for one, LOVE aardappel krokketten as much as i love normal ones. I think they are as common as normal kroketten just eaten in different situations.
4:01 I saw his father at their stand on another show. I guess they really are the last family and every cooking tv show that does Amsterdam visits them.
i was born in amsterdam and gosh do i miss it. but seeing this video it will be soon i go overthere. the people are like no place else like you said. i live now in the sout part of the Netherlands and although it takes no mire thenn 2 hours to go there, there alway's seems to get something what keeps me from going there. In the summertime it is even better. and yes the Albert Cuyp is so nice to walk over sinds they sell really all kinds of foods clothes and so much more. anyway i loved to watched this video.
God she makes westerners look awful.... She sees people laying down chilling on a boat and her response is "HIIIIII I'm Julia!!!" Jesus...forgive us. P.S Whoever knocked her up....my prayers and thoughts are with you always. Rest in peace.
Born and raised there an that is not the farmers market haha. They got good stuf butt if you see the dutch Farmers market theres lot more choice and fresher vegetables Greetingz from amsterdam
Lol, I live in the NL for 5 years, and I couldn't find anything close to be dutch culinary culture, but the three things described here: stroopwaffle, croquettes and herrings (ok also stampott). There are very good cooks and restaurants around here, but the average stuff that people cook, let's forget about it.

It's from a bakery called Holtkamp (Vijzelgracht 15 in the centre of Amsterdam). They have a few shops, also outside of Amsterdam. www.patisserieholtkamp.nl/nl (the one in the capital) www.holtkampdebakkerij.nl (the bakery in 2 villages in the province Southern Holland) P.s. they also sell the frozen ones to fry them at home. Perfect for on a thick slice of freshly made bread with some (Zaanse) mustard.
hahaha I used to bake exactly the same stroopwafels. I used the same grey container, the same looking dough devided in little scoops. 'familiy recipe' haha they tell a lot of bullshit to tourists in Amsterdam
