I felt very much at odds with who I associate the divine feminine/goddess with. For me it's the blessed virgin Mary. I was raised Christian but Mary had no part in the Nazarene church. It was a few years ago that I felt the need to get to know her and started a Marian devotion. I've been an agnostic "psycospiritual" witch for most of my life and adding Mary into it felt strange but right. I pray the rosary and she comforts me. Idk what it is but I accept it.

Thank you for sharing! It's easy to get lost in all the details within the labyrinth of trying to get a sense of what the divine feminine actually is at its core. From my experiences and understandings, it's the heart and everything associated - emotions, to feel. Just to unfold that level alone, it will show many things - How the thinking mind (masculine) dominates and will do what it can to cover up, distract itself from, not listen to, and interfere with the signal of communication from the heart. To be unconsciously dominated by endless thinking (for both men and woman) is to be dominated by masculine consciousness and that is where the imbalance of mankind can be found. When you begin to move into feminine consciousness, releasing the mind, and becoming in-tune with the present moment through sensation perception (no thinking, just sensory awareness), this is where you will begin your journey of balancing your yin and yang/masculine and feminine consciousness. When you consciously choose to nurture and stabilise the balance of your emotional state held within your heart throughout your day with body awareness and deep breathing (especially when you find yourself in situations where the minds faulty thinking interprets things to pull yourself out of alignment with yourself), this is exactly where one needs to shift into heart awareness and rebalance yourself and THEN to recognise that its our thinking/beliefs that need a serious investigation to become aware of what thoughts and beliefs are actually our own downfall. Anyway, Im still learning though, but its incredibly fascinating!

I really appreciated your sincere sharing of 'the Journey'. (The Gnostic 'poem 'Thunder Perfect Mind' expresses all Her attributes. Dr. Hal Taussig has written a brilliant commentary on that poem.) I was trying to understand something of the texts of Thoth inscribed on the walls of the Temple of Edfu in Egypt. Somewhere in there I came across part of a story about Hathor 'disguised as a beautiful woman' gaining the trust of the followers of Set (who were 'evil') then throwing 'the eye of the sun' on them. This caused a serious cataclysm, until (blah, blah) the male god restored Earth. It had a familiar ring to it. Read backward it seemed like a group of Goddess devotees were blamed for perhaps a comet striking the earth - It also implies that A Beautiful Goddess cannot be trusted. Sound familiar?

What we need to do is to raise our children in this awareness of divine feminine. Maybe you could do a series or even just one video on advice/ideas how to start raising girls (and boys) appreciating divine feminine? Just a thought.. it would be so helpful for me as a mother of a teenage daughter ❤

In my estimation the person who wrote that which was a wise dude, argued amongst many other things that the world need more feminine energy at that time. @PersephonesSister I actually read Enuma Elish and you kinda skipped over some important details... :D For example like how Tiamat and her male counterpart Apsu were originally lovers and equals out of whom came the first generation of the lesser Gods. Or how Tiamat became vengeful and destructive only after their offspring slaughtered her mate. Or how Marduk came as a response to Tiamat sending swarms of demons to annihilate the Gods... On the other hand, I spent very long time thinking about the structure of the world and its representation in myth. I think its a very big mistake that monotheistic tradition did not acknowledge the Great Mother as an equal to God the Father and we will pay for it dearly. Its basically reverse situation to Enuma Elish - we kept the image of the Father, but we have eradicated the image of the Mother. In consequence, some of it was assimilated in new testament God (sorry, but love and compassion are not masculine traits), but the essence of her went underground and waited for its destructive reemergence (which is, as portrayed in Enuma Elish, her natural state in case of separation from her masculine counterpart). You might not agree with me, but from what I see in the world within last couple of decades, I have a suspicion that feminism and all its incarnations resembles the great dragon of chaos rather than the loving mother. There is a bitter irony in a pursuit of equality if you imagine it means that we all will be truly equal in death...

What would a Matriarchy looks like in comparison to a Patriarchy and how would it be successful(in any sense you see fit)? Do you think it would have been possible to get to this point of technological advancement with Matriarchy? Or would the goal be a completely different one? In those last 3000 years, is there any time period that you think was Matriarchal dominant or at least the closest it has been? Do you see the murder of Tiamat as something to avenge? Is it different than the Crucification of Jesus Christ, as "We have transitioned to a new period of time and this point of significance"? If Divine Feminine as you have define it, being this powerful. Would it not have came back from that "3000 year long defeat" a bit sooner? Is it possible to be living in a society that is Patriarchal(essentially men lead) and it still having Divine Feminine dominant? The divine feminine is not a woman, she was a goddess in the second world, in order to travel to the 3rd world the masculine and the feminine both had to give up their lives to move to the next world. The earth is the body, the sun is the masculine and the moon is the feminine. At the end of it they end up being just one soul, They are both just soul/emergy that have split themselves up many times putting little pieces in the smartest animal on the planet so they can grow there energy till the 24000 years it takes is up and then they wake and recollect what is theirs and then pick a different set of beings to do the same thing, they grow their soul so it's frequency is high enough to enter another dimension, it would take 100000 years and frequency would be to high to remain on earth if they didn't split it up into many different pieces
