While the Zetans initially repelled the Xeno attacks using their superior technology, the vast distance from their homeworld of Zetani led to a prolonged and unwinnable war of attrition, exacerbated by the Zetans' long lifespans and slow reproduction, which hindered their ability to replenish their forces despite inflicting heavy losses on the enemy.
Recognizing the need for reinforcements, Zetan leaders Brahma, Yahweh, Zeus, and Odin proposed enlisting humans from Earth, who had short lifespans and could quickly reproduce. Yahweh devised a plan to convince humans that the Zetans were the gods they sought to communicate with, thus enticing them to join the Zetan army. By altering their appearances to match various deities and utilizing advanced technology to appear magical, the Zetans successfully recruited humans to serve as warriors, controlling their leaders through mind control technology to mitigate the risks posed by the unpredictable humans.
The angels or demi-gods, enhanced by the Zetans to hold superiority over other humans, were tasked with two main commands: to procreate rapidly and to wage constant wars, thus ensuring a steady supply of recruits for the Zetan army. Recruitment occurred on significant cultural holidays, where chosen warriors underwent a ritual involving ascension and were transported to the Divine Dimension to train with Zetan weapons before being sent to fight the Xenos. Although many humans died in battle, a few retired to a terraformed planet designed to be an ideal human world.
The introduction of human soldiers eventually shifted the tide of the conflict, as the Zetan technology and weaponry outmatched the Xenos, who remained committed to fighting to the last individual. Despite the Xenos’ belief in their superiority and refusal to surrender, they struggled against the humans, ultimately leading to a significant turning point when the Zetan forces reached the Xeno homeworld of Xenora. However, the Xenos executed a devastating plan to destroy the Zetan homeworld, Zetani, with a supernova, resulting in the collapse of Zetan civilization and the near extinction of the Xenos.
As the Zetans faced their decline, losing the Zeto Crystals that had unified and empowered them, their civilization fractured into separate species, each vying for dominance on their own planets. The remaining humans from the Zetan army, resettled on Terra Nova, found themselves embroiled in conflict due to dwindling numbers and resources, leading to their eventual obscurity.
After the destruction of Zetani, the Zetan gods became divided and lost their common purpose. Stripped of their unity, they began to bicker over human governance, with Yahweh creating contradictory rules to study the chaos it incited among his followers. As the Zetans settled their disputes by manipulating human behavior, they measured their success through dominance over humanity, until a significant event disrupted their order.
Yahweh, grappling with his newfound sexual desires after the loss of the Zeto Crystals, became obsessed with his relationship with Lucifer while condemning human sexuality. Feeling guilt over his inability to procreate with the remaining Zetan women, he made the drastic decision to alter his DNA to mate with humans, despite the risks of disobeying the other Zetans. After impressing human women with his divine powers and promising to father a great Messiah, Yahweh returned to the Divine Dimension, only to be confronted and knocked unconscious by an enraged Lucifer, who felt betrayed by Yahweh’s actions.
