The whole game is actually the Minutemen questline..... But it feels like something, or maybe someone is missing..... Bet Preston Garvey is hidden in the game files somewhere

Bro you are right. I've got 60-70 hours in this game and the only characters name I remember is quartermaster. Strange that his parents knew what he would do for a living as an adult and named him appropriately

One thing Borderlands 2 got right about their bosses was the introductions! The characters had personality and some funny or insane intros. Catch-A-Rideeeee!!!!

I've been treating my character as robo-cop, where they don't speak, are almost invincible, and kill EVERYTHING no exceptions.

But the real question is: do we still get walnut pompom beanies?

Fun experience, even soloing, it almost gets a survival vibe. Cool gadgets, decent cover shooting, good sound design, nice art style make up for a great experience: a shame ubisoft decided to cap the levels to advertise the warlords of New York expansion, scummy move… but the base game is still a good time!

division 1 was way more atmospheric than this one, but division 2 got a lot of technical upgrades, like the shooting is way more fun and less laggy.

I love this channel and I understand the work it takes to make an angry review. I just take issue with these types of videos being called angry reviews. This type of discussion is not what we expect from that title so my suggestion is to rename them to “angry review discussions” or something like that

I have put a lot of time into this game , and I kind of feel empty. It's not a bad game but at the same time I don't get really excited or motivated to play it.

I disagree about the solo experience. I'm enjoying the hell out of it on my own. Occasionally jump into back ups, but otherwise all lone wolf stuff.

The Division 1 had such an amazing atmosphere and ambiance, loved the snowy vibe and exploring the actually interesting story. 2 is just so bland and meh.

I got this game recently and as an Arlingtonian who once worked in D.C. I got to say what an amazing job to not only capture the area from the basic map but also show very similar buildings and even the one I use to be in and their substitutes are fitting to the real locations. Honestly Ubisoft has done an incredible job at that but if there is any criticism I have it’s that I tend to have motion sickness and get tired of looking at the game mainly because it’s so washed out and looks kinda ugly. I’m playing it on the pro so maybe that’s why?

Many people are pointing out how Del is "wrong" about the Skill Power element being "Broken". Del has defended his position here in the comments, but id like to point out the even more important point you all are missing - the plain simple FACT that the game didn't explain skill power well to players. That's the games deficiency not ours. Especially if or when skill power has worked differently in The Division 1. I find it interesting that someone would invalidate the entire video over something like we feeling skill power is broken. That's true fanboyism. What about the missing black tusk bug? what about the one hit kills broken pvp? what about all the numerous glitches, bugs and balancing issues that are clearly in the game? - that we showed with visual proof? I don't see those of you "skill power people" saying anything about those or agreeing that we pointed them out and they should be fixed, only that you think we were "wrong on skill power" and that means a "bad review". Look I get some of you wanted us to rate the game higher, like all the other outlets, 8, 8.5's, 9's, 9.5's, but the simple fact for ME is its not ANY of those ratings - it needs some work and some fixes, but it very well can get there, its just this is what the game was at the time we reviewed it. Some could even argue the game is a 6/10 in its release state - I rated it higher because I knew these issues would be fixed fast and the game would be much better for it, and im looking forward to all the FREE DLC. Also to those of you calling me "lazy" for simply being in a "sitting position" in this review, fuck off. This Review took as much time and effort as a review where I was in a different "body position". If you prefer standing solo Angryjoe reviews, thats cool- but my god the content of the review should be the measure not the position of my fucking legs. I kinda want to do a few more of these just to troll and piss some of yall off now, even when I never had the intention to. LoL. Standing Reviews have been the default mode for 10 years and they will continue to be the default mode. Been doing this for a long time and sometimes I like to try something out on my own channel.

The endgame isnt bugged, the black tusk only exist when there is invaded sections, once those are cleared they are removed and the older factions take control. once World Tier 5 releases on april 5th the black tusk will then begin to invade the map every week on new and old missions. also i dont think you mentioned it much but Conflict is a standalone PvP mode in The Division 2. which adds a more grounded PvP element to the game outside of the darkzone. which the darkzone is more about gear, hence why you are melting people, they dont have good gear. id rate the game a 8/10, but i just felt like you missed a few things, or you didnt understand a few things here joe. but i cant blame you since the game does a poor job of explaining it to you

Ubisoft should send EA/Bioware a check because the shitshow that was Anthem further exemplifies the positives of The Division 2

To be honest the soundtrack in this game is amazing especially in combat!

18:00 i'm starting to notice this more often this game has raccoons that scurry under objects but them they have ar's with no bolt carriers and aks that eject bullet casings with the bolt forward like joe says "imaginary bullets"

My favorite moment in the game was when you were in the Vietnam exibit by the chopper. My buddy started playing fortunate son over the Mic while I was in the minigun and it was badass

Tech points aren't supposed to directly change skill power. Devs said that a while ago.

32:20 Oh my gosh I love judge dred so much and I loved the movies with Sylvester Stallone and Karl Urban and that parody was just freaking awesome. Also the idea to incorporate Judge dred into a video game via a special event or mod is just awesome. Honestly there should be a good video game developer out there who takes the idea you pitched Joe and just go balls to the wall insane and make a gory, gritty but fun open world judge dred game with looter shooter style mechanics and have enemies, gear, locations and weapons unique the judge dred universe. Hell maybe even just make it into a first person shooter game at that and go crazy. The only game franchise I've ever played that sort of been able to scratch that itch of being a badass cop of the law like judge dred for me is the crackdown games although it's never been as intense or gory like judge dred. Still the crackdown games are similar to a degree in concept in it's own unique right and a decent amount of fun. I just hope I can get that wish someday because that is a kick ass idea joe. 10/10 ship it.

Does Del not realize that Skill Power is used only for the mods for the skills and not the skills themselves? otherwise we'd have a case where players run around with One Shot Grenade Launchers or Sniper Turrets.

It was my understanding that increasing skill power does NOT increase skill damage like in Div 1, it only allows you to mod your skills, and by modding your skills it then allows you to increase damage or skill radius or whatever you want to mod..but yes its broken in the way that the skill power requirement is far too high for mods, but skilling into skill power will not automatically increase skill damage

I just got into this game and it’s pretty fun and immersive. It’s like gears of war and borderlands had a baby in an open world I can’t stop playing

Experiencing Dark zone and extracting the loot by helicopter with your friend is the best thing about the game. And propably the best Coop online experience you'll ever have in a video game. And yea PVP is a shit show, it's not fair to new players, veterans will destroy you in 2 hits, even if u are behind them and have a better position , they will turn around and put you out in seconds. The worst thing is that they will send u voice chats and try to troll you as well, some people don't realise how bad PVP is in this game. Also the audio in the game is buggy as hell, it randomly turns off sometimes. The AI problem gotta say they fixed that ( at least in 2021 when i am playing it ). Right now the game has the best AI in the entire looter shooter genre. Not kidding, The AI almost feel human , bcz of how they flank you and put u under pressure.

About the skill power issue, the devs are aware of that already. It doesn't scale the damage of skills but it unlocks skill mods. The issue is that the requirements are too high and the skill mods are not that powerful. I hope they fix that properly.

I'm playing The Division 1 again, and The thing about the game and the whole bullet sponge thing is that we were very bad at the game. After playing and studying the builds, you can literally 1 shot elites. There are videos with guides on various builds to literally melt mobs in the map. Tactician for example can deal 2 million damage with stick bomb.

Just an FYI for accuracy. Skill power not scaling skills is intended. It is busted right now, but for another reason. You need skill power for kill mods to work, they increase duration and damage and such. But, the require way too much as a bug which they are working on. Is it bugged and making skill power useless, yes, but not for the reason you are stating.

Also theres insane amount of hidden story pieces 13 hunters around the map that u have to trigger with some strange action. Like stand infront of a grave u salute and a hunter does even better apperance than steve. and those small "Hotels" leading u to the washington monument hidden door. it's so cool.

Very little details or storyline on each faction like we had on D1. You felt invested in the storyline in D1 when you knew more on the factions and their leaders.

10:40 I spotted the videos right when I got the first one, it’s always after a main story mission (maybe side missions, I’ve only got them for main so far) and whoever is on coms chimes in and says we got a surveillance or a video check it out, and a indicator comes on screen in the bottom right telling you to hold up on the directional pad to play it. Gotta just pay attention.

Skill power isn't intended to scale the damage or health, etc of skills, it's only meant to allow you to equip powerful mods to your skills that then boost your skills values.

I never played any Division Games and only got Division 2 Because it was $3.99 and those hyenas videos weren't hidden for me they showed them in the story they weren't Buried in 5 Menus But then again this video was made almost a year ago so maybe all the updates fixed this game because im freaking loving it and i play on a 50 inch 4K TV and have the PS PRO Im loving the graphics Division 2 Days Gone Most UNDERRATED GAMES OF 2019

imagine all npc act as the bosses who drop the masks. they heal, they change weapons, they change position a lot, much more like a player. normal npc's dont act so dynamic

great review. i should clarify though that skill power is not meant to increase skill damage directly. it allows you to use mods on your skills that require more skill power the more powerful the mod and those will increase things like damage radius cooldown and charges etc.

There needs to be alliances (guilds group up into alliances) and fortresses (you take them as a guild and it gives you resources or something) which enemy npcs attempt to retake at pre-determined times (like Saturday's at 6 pm) during which other guilds can sign up to join the seige, and if they succeed the fortress is theirs. The fortress owners can spend resources to hire NPCs to fight in their side during the siege. Then we can have alliance wars with mass pvp, opening up the game to mass PVP based classes (like chemical warfare specialists and mass healers and turret based builds (can deploy a man-able gatling gun with a slow recharge)
