The Division 2: New Striker Build Perfect for Legendary

The Division 2: I threw the exotic Rugged Gauntlets onto a Strikers build and took it into some Legendary Missions. The results were crazy! You do lose a little bit of DPS to include the Rugged gloves but in return you are able to push hard against the Legendary enemies. With the St. Elmo's in hand you can get right in the enemies face and play the build as normal but then have the ability to blind fire when needed to still do a considerable amount of damage. I talk you through my thought process and the build in the video while giving you some gameplay.

Tried out the version with the SVD-MMR (3x Providence, Fox, Gontractors, Gruppo, Vigilance and Glass Cannon; F2000 as back up) in heroic and it worked really well. Even on Tidal Basin. There's one thing though that makes using the Rugged G's a bit more difficult: positioning. It's not always easy or even possible to blind fire at targets, sometimes you do have to expose yourself a bit more or take a different position. Practice will make one perform better, I guess. For those not liking Strikers: try it on a Negotiator's Dilemma.

Feel like pestilence or any lmg really would pair with the gloves well. Just due to the mechanics of lmgs. They’re all about sustained fire and you can’t use a shield with them. If you can land every shot in a mag without leaving cover though…

Hey GC what would u think about a coyote/3-piece striker build with fox's prayer & Picaros hoster? I use the Picaros for the armor & weapon damage & the fox's prayer for the Dmg targets out of cover & other DPS stuff it offers. When would a 3 piece vs a 4 piece benefit more? I don't usually play DPS so I need more survivability. Hence the Picaros vs 4 piece strikers. noticed good results with how it is now on heroic with 3 pieces. I use st Elmo's engine & lefty but sometimes use the m1a instead of the lefty if that helps. Shield & revival hive for my skills. P.s this new build of yours is hilarious I watched the legendary Livestream it was comedic gold 😆

Okay i gotta ask. How would it do with the born great assault rifle? Whenever you simply shoot that, it builds stability. So wouldn't it have double the stability?

We were discussing such items and talents that improved stability and my guess is it would perform very well! Not tested yet though

I can't seem to find the behind you weapon talent do I need to be in NY. And is it for all weapons I only see the normal one on snipers and rifles?

It’s only on those two weapons it’s not available on anything else and no you don’t have to be in NY.

I can see these gloves working with the pestilence 3x Langmo, 2x Petrov, with glass cannon and blind fire your stacks with the pestilence.

I think the rav would just go on the last build I did for it. 3 prov, foxs prayer and a ceska or grupo. Glass cannon vigilence. Not sure how well it would perform blind firing though

The Rugged Gauntlets are like autotune, if you can't sing - autotune won't make you a better singer.

Just started a new character, but i think the game has taken the world tier system away. We could get to the boo and boost to level 30 but stay in DC, but it seems it's gone, so you have to start at level 1 through 30.

Unless you boost your character, you will run 1 through 30 like you said, but as soon as you're done with the Main game story, you'll unlock world tiers and from there go up to 40 and play the NY campaign.

@azydion4026 so the world tiers are still there but after level 30? I remember when my guns and gear had gear levels and the top gear level was 500ish

@@stephenphillips7699 Correct. Once you Reach level 30 and have the campaign completed, each world tier will have specific requirements to progress.

It's not quite like that. Being at level 30 with a boosted character will give your head a roughly 500 gear score. There's really no point in doing world tiers anymore. If you go 1 -30 you'll just reach the same point regardless of works tier

The point of the video is to showcase how well Rugged Gauntlets can work with Striker's, and as GC mentioned in the video, he tested this build for now. This just opens up a topic for more discussion regarding where you could find use for the Rugged Gauntlets in any other build by allowing you to change playstyle without taking away too much from a build.

The community is Strikered out. It’s actually really bad for then game that Striker has been this meta for this long. Surprised MASSIVE is fine with it like this.

Couldn't agree more to be honest. I think its bad that something is so over powered that it just becomes the thing everyone uses. I remember the old Aces ans Eights on Dark Hours way back. Hopefully they are just letting people have fun and then the DLC changes a lot of things when it comea
