The Division | Advanced Gameplay Tips & Tricks 

I just got this game. I had read a bunch of salty reviews on it. However i love it. I believe lots of people get far to picky over shit.

Hey man, just wanted to say from myself (and I'm sure the rest of the Division community) thank you! Your subscriber base is probably bigger than the entirety of the Division player base at the moment and it's so easy to get side tracked and jump onto another game given how much this game has truly let us down, but you've stuck your ground and soldiered through!

The corner shooting tip was super helpful (and still can be) back in the 4HM H DN farming... With all 4 of you stacked on the crate it as really easy to get blocked by an inconsiderate player, this zoom in trick helped get past that player. Clearing up the snap-shotting issue of skill haste and skill power will definitely be helpful to someone out there as well. Nice work Marco.

Thanks Marco, good tips. I'd definitely noticed the 1HP lock thing, wasn't sure if it was a bug or intended... I think the way they've implemented the changes to medkits in 1.7 makes a lot of sense as the point is to cleanse a specific status effect and then stop it triggering again for a few secs (mainly for fire, let's be honest). Not sure I like that the flame turret disables after an enemy uses a medkit though... You should definitely be able to take exotic damage even if you get the on fire immunity. That's going to kill the only think offensive Tac players have left!

hey marco, i just want to say thank you for these tips and tricks, the one where you can scope in and shoot when behind cover is a real lifesaver. I had tried it in many of my runs everywhere and I have never been shot by enemies until they flank me. In fact, I tried sniping in Clear Sky (my first run) and indeed the enemies either do not realize i am shooting at them, or couldn't land a single shot on me.

quick thing about the invulnerability, if you are revived by a recovery link u can be put back down instantly if they have enough dps, u get the invulnerability after u pull out your gun and can move

It's not dead yet us hardcore day one players are still here dispite the lag , latency, metas, bugs , glitches, check point campers etc etc .....we still in here ..!!!! cos we ❤ division. And In fairness , massive are still pushing to get the game back to the 1.5 sweet spot .

Always wondered about the skill strength.. Still playing 40 hours a week there is no other game around that could make me stop playing the Division, just hoping lessons learnt for TD2 + players come back, tho on Xbox never have issues matchmaking except for UG keep doing the videos marcostyle!!

Great tips even for a guy that is playing since day one. If i may add, you can actually fire your weapon when you're shocked by a shock turret or a grenade a couple of seconds just before you go out of the status effect.

Here's a tip if someone is down and your reviving them you DONT have to stop and move to them to revive them just because they are crawling away from you.

I use your first tip a lot. I place a reclaimer 6 set healing station and switch to my striker and control the encounter

@MarcoStyle do you think they should relase more new mission and new area instead just focusing on gears? i stopped playing for a long time and honestly when i see your videos i reconise all the spot (and i stoped playin maybe 2 month after it realse)

The classified gear sets are cool, but my question is are those event caches gonna drop classified or equivalent High end/gold armor pieces?

well about medkit, massive said that medkit will remove status efect and will give imunity to that status efect, they didnt mentioned about giving imunity to all

Tip: when I run firecrest in pve I stack damages to elete where ever I can...I run a sawed off shot in the third weapon slot usually hand gun but it has 3 talents and I added ferocious and I swap to this weapon before I throw out the fire turret +30ish % damage to eletes

One thing I'd like to add is that when I change weapons while my turret is firing,the damage numbers change according to the weapon I'm holding. Maybe I misunderstood what you said?

Question for you Marco... Barrett's gives a skill power buff with no skills on cool down We know this. Seeker mines don't go on cool down until the last one pops. We know this. So if I throw a seeker mine and then immediately throw a turret,do they both get the Barrett's buff since no skill was on cool down when either were thrown?

Have you heard any information about Ubi may be plan to make a battle royale DLC for the Division?

That scope around corners just changed the game for me

@marco you say that EAD and DtE dont work with the Turret but ingame it seems that it works

now I know how I get shot threw walls, cheers dude, will learn how to do it myself

Big pro tip if you have a immunizer and one of your people go down throw the box on them and run and throw a shock or Grande on them the player's will catch fire or be shocked giving you time to pick up your team mate up and back in the fight

I actually thought that EAD and DTE also worked on the Pulse Turret? Guess it's back to testing that skill...

Well if skill haste is reduced to 40% cap from 50%, it will be much more difficult for players to stack adept as well as other skills to use it in the right time! And again, thanks for this video!

I have to add that your slightly wrong about the turret damage - if using 4 piece tac and as the duff starts to rise so does the turret damage.

I'm pretty sure that damage to elites works with turret but not enemy armour damage.

Should i start playing this a game havnt played it since the incursions and im a solo player will i b at such a disadvantage that it wont b fun?

omfg... that dmg at 8:50 lol.. im fairly new to the dark zone and i have never seen that amount of damage.. thats insane to me lol

MR.Marco i got a question.. do you know how much firearms scale.. if you have 7000 firearms and go up to 8000 or 9000 how much do you gain in weapon damage etc and is it even worth it to have more then 7000 like in 1.5 where it wasent worth to get over 7k cos the scale was to low..

So youre damage to elits on weapons also aply to seekers/stickybomb?? Or did i get that wrong?

Cool headed used to proc in 1.0 and 1.1 with explosions and turrets, they removed due to abuse.

Damage to elites works with the flame turret. I tested this last week. Mine does 16 hp/sec dmg but against yellow enemies it's 22 hp/s. And I have 35% dte so the math adds up. I'm on console

How do you get them sick shades

Nothing major but that health locked at 1% has a name it's called "Health Gating" it happens all the time in Borderlands 2 lol.

The EMP sticky bomb does not affect a support station/immunizer

1:30 I saw ur character had a ponytail , how? u unlock new hairstyles somehow? just started playing and I didn't see any long hair hairstyle , at least at creation screen...

Ik heb drie exotische gear set items, het vest de handschoenen en het masker. Hiervoor was ik volledig 4 peace D3fnc maar als ik deze exotische items traag moet ik dus mijn vierde D3fnc opgeven. Zijn die keer set items het waard. Om eigenlijk van mijn basis build af te stappen?

great video...like allways...are you absolutely shure that EAD/DTE didn't work with turret? I have a Tactican with 25% DTE and 25% EAD...and another with 50% DTE and 60% EAD...i have no valid Numbers but I see the difference when the turret is working...when the turret works with the 60% EAD-Tactican Turret act like a Saw and rip of enemy's Armor much faster than with 25% EAD...or is it my personal feeling ?
