I agree, im also against Rap-Segregation. That Black-Hebrew-Israelite Agenda is way to crazy. Cuz i said cool, lets take away the Adidas, the SURE, the Turntables, the Classic Samples, the Harmonica, the Beatmachines ect... what is left of "Hip Hop"? I always tell them: RAP is not from Africa. Bambaata went to Africa and brought in African elements(Clothes, Hairstyles ect). So yeah, im absolutely against Rap-Segregation. Playing SkinColorPolitics was never cool in America... (in America, the new Babylon).

His debut album was one of the dopest albums of the year it was released & I played it on heavy rotation & I’m from the UK m8. He wrote the majority of NWA’s lyrics after Ice Cube left the group. He wrote more verses than anyone else for Dre’s ‘The Chronic’ Lp back in ‘’93. If DOC didn’t have the accident that destroyed his vocal cords he was being hailed as the ‘Rakim of the West’ after his track ‘The Formula’ dropped & when his highly acclaimed debut album came out. If DOC didn’t have his career destroying accident, he would be rightly considered as one of the greatest MCs & lyricists in Hip Hop point blank. 2 things that really separates Em from 90% of most artists.1 He's never forgotten where he came from, Who helped him get there No matter how big he got How successful, he never allowed it to blurr him or his art,. 2. He's never forgotten who came first and before him, paved the way. Always studying, always showing respect. looking up to the greats who came before him, showing Love. Too many artists have lost their way forgotten how they got where they is after ascertaining a certain level of Fame or Fortune. Em can say he never fell victim to this. One of the things in my opinion that really helps him Stand out.

well idk about forgetting where he came from.. he remembers by memory but physically and in the real world, he has lol he wouldnt have like a 50million dollar mansion.. or two or three, if he didnt forget. I love em but sometimes i see how much hes forgotten. Hes been rich and succesful for over half his life at this point. Of course he will forget. The only real struggles etc he knew were 25+ years ago. Its why he cant truly resonate with people. He still does, but on other levels. And since hes gotten better at rapping, hes been using that as a.. crutch if you will, to contiue being succesful. His real success initially came from realizing his surroundings and being genuine and able to be compared to the average person. He does little things like wear a cheap g shock watch etc, but he still stacks money and spends like crazy. He made the spaghetti shop which is cool but with the money he has, id dump millions into detroit myself (a place i came from) and change tons of peoples lives. He doesnt have to but if humble and really understands where he came from, he'd do something like that. Just sayin. Im a huge fan and we dont want to admit, but look at him close and follow him to actually judge.

2:05 - If only more black people could really understand Eminem the way DOC does. He acknowledges how incredible he is for his craft and legacy being one of the best rappers of all time. The color of your skin shouldn’t be an issue and I was glad he pointed that out and knowing Eminem is white many will always continue to make it an issue as I have seen so many drag his name through the mud who’re so prejudiced and hateful. DOC is a real one keeping real showing respect being humble. We all know Eminem sold lots of records this and that ect but he worked his ass of being where he is today and Dr. Dre made sure of it as he was main person responsible for making him what he is by signing him.

The love Eminem has for the ART of emceeing and ill emcees who came before him (or after him) from 80s and pre 1996/97/98 when heads discovered him, is so dope to me. You can tell he’s a passionate, knowledgeable HipHop head and I respect that as someone who has been one since early 90s (early 80s baby so rap fan starting in late 80s but really started becoming a head in 90/91 with Masta Ace, G-Rap, Naughty By Nature, Organized Konfusion, Lord Finesse, solo Ice Cube, Brand Nubian, LL, Tribe, De La, Rakim, Kane, Redman, PE, HeavyD, EPMD, KRS, Cypress Hill, 2Pac etc). Not only is Em one of the illest ever, but what makes him one of the nicest is that he’s studied everyone else like a scientist and takes a bit from many of those above + ChinoXL, Ras Kass, Canibus, AZ, Method Man, BootCamp, Souls of Mischief, Del, House of Pain, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Kool Moe Dee, Treacherous Three, Melle Mel, BlackThought, Common, MC Juice, PerceeP, ChillRobG, Chubb Rock, Busta, ONYX, Guru, Scarface, BIG D.O.C. Dre Snoop Outkast Brother J to name a few. His music may be more hit or miss to me post his God tier 96/97-03 prime, but his A game pen wise is still God tier (even if not as consistent and flows smoothness voice wise not as consistent), but anyone who tries to deny how ILL he is skill wise is just lying. There’s a reason everyone I named above + Elzhi Royce Crook Lupe Cambatta Ransom 38 Spesh Benny Conway Banks Papoose Tonedeff Diabolic ChinoXL Locksmith Louis Logic Nino Bless Kendrick Drake Cole Droog TI Luda Vakill Lox Fab and many other ILL MCs revere Em as an MC and are on record saying it!

@@AbongileKolisi-pr2ke You’re entitled to your opinion, but you clearly don’t know enough about Hip Hop to make that statement. 😂. It’s about more than lyrical acrobatics. Your rhymes have to actually move people, and specifically the Black people who created the genre. It’s more about WHAT you say than about HOW you say it that matters in Hip Hop. That’s why Em’s music is rarely if ever requested among Black people. He’s technically gifted on the mic but his music does not move people. Nas, KRS-One, Scarface, Notorious BIG, Big Daddy Kane, Black Thought, Rakim, and 2Pac’s music and lyrics actually move people in spiritual and profound ways. Em’s music doesn’t. Em gets extra and exaggerated love in the genre because he’s technically gifted plus he’s white. So black folks react to his music the same way they do when they see a white man who can dunk a basketball really well. They overhype it. If Em were Black he’d be just another good rapper in a long list of others. Ask the average Black person how many Eminem albums they own? Not many. And it’s not because he’s white. They just don’t feel his music the same way they do, say Nas’ or 2pac’s.

Say what you want but Em is nasty. I’m a black man saying this as well. I’m just so tired of the whole color of the skin non sense when it comes to music. I look for skill. That’s all I look for. Em had skills and the goats of rap who have skills as well say that about em. People need to stop. Yes Em is hard to take in sometimes with his subject matter. However, when he is not on his bullshit (rapping about silly things) no one can see him. The guy is nasty. Plain and simple. Say what you want but the Marshall mathers LP is a classic album. You can hate on my comment if you want but go on RU-vid and see what other RESPECTED rappers said about him. There is a video of lil wayne saying he wanted to get on a song with em and he said in the video he couldn’t fuck with him. This was before they even ever recorded one song. Em is nice plain and simple. He is in my top 5.

Exactly! The thing is, and I don't even want to perpetuate the white vs black thing, but it IS a black thing to think that way. No white people (apart from racists) actively buy music because the person is white or don't buy it cos they're black. How in the hell do these people explain MJ having the best selling album ever? Or the success of people like Whitney and Mariah? It's nonsense and these people need showing up when they show their ass

@@twitchoff1114 exactly. If you got skills then show us what you got. I don’t care if you are red, blue or green. Show us what you can do and if you are good I will listen. The problem is that many people won’t admit that a person who doesn’t look like them or come from where they come from is that nice. People took Em seriously when he got on renegades with Jay z and held his own. Usually Jay bodies the song that had features on it. Em held his own on that song but no one had the guts to say it except Nas. Bottom line is that em has skills. People just need to stop it already.
