I am always transported back in time to simple childhood days, watching the telly with Mum and dad. I miss them so much. Thank you for these vintage gems you post xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
I remember the Ernie Sigley show on at night in the mid-70s. And like watching him in Wheel of Fortune of an afternoon when I got home from school. Went for a few years before John Burgess took it over...
This brings back such wonderful memories, TV is no longer like this sadly. I had the great pleasure of meeting Don Lane in the '80s when he did a gig at the South Sydney Juniors Club, such a lovely and charming man.
@@ItsANiceDaySometimes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈... I remember Triple m thanking the sponsors of the show and they threw in " special thanks for Don's coffee table"...... What a Grub 🐛... I think he's on the list too.
It seems like Rolf Harris was on Don's show quite often. He must have been a 'filler' guest when they couldn't get anyone else. Rolf always looked and acted creepy; now I know why! He's something nightmares are made of!😱 I'm probably totally in the minority on this (which I am - please don't judge!), but does anyone else think Ray Martin is a cutie? Maybe it has something to do with the gap in his teeth!😆 Fun episode overall - keep 'em comin'!😃
😂 Thankfully, this is the last appearance of Rolf and will not be in upcoming episodes. I've never heard anyone describe Ray as "cute". Devoid of any personality, yes. It's quite mindboggling how many Gold Logies he won 🤔
Thank God you have no more Rolf episodes, though it's always fun to pick on his creep factor! I wonder what Don did with Rolf's drawing of him? It was probably used as kindling or possibly toilet paper!!! I warned everyone that I was totally in the minority on the Ray Martin being cute thing! There were probably some almost blind, old ladies in the audience who would have agreed with me.😆
