Alcoholism doesn’t care how good a person you are. It will turn you into a joke.

Tl;dr, Nick decided that cocaine, ketamine, alcohol and extra marital sex meant more to him than his kids, his integrity, his morality, and his future. Sad to see, many such cases.

I truly hope Nick gets help, I stopped watching because it’s too painful. It’s like watching someone slowly die, and you can’t help them.

Rekeita is like 30 percent of the reason I quit drinking cold turkey edit: one thing please don't give me too much sympathy my drinking wasn't soooo bad but I quit to beat the house I was a moderate drinker but could have slipped into something worse rackets scared me straight a bit.

I don't think the alcoholism and loose morals came after the Johnny Depp trial, but before. Here's an anecdote. Nick happened to be in town visiting a bar near where I live in Feb of 2022, and he publicly invited anyone to come drop by on Twitter. I was bored that night and thought, "why not drop by?" I got there and eventually found him and introduced myself. By that time he had apparently already been drinking for hours and was very drunk and incoherent. Eventually he would offer to buy everyone drinks, saying he didn't care how much it cost because "it's all fake youtube money anyways". While we were waiting in line to buy a few beers he kept ogling over the female bartender saying she was a "gift from God" and talking about how if he wasn't married he'd be smashing. He kept going on and on about it... Anyways, he eventually decided he didn't want to wait and gave me his credit card to buy the beers with while he went to the restroom. When I asked if it was a good idea for him to give his card to a stranger he gave the "fake youtube money" line again and left. So, I bought the beers, returned his card, hung out for a bit longer and left. All in all it was pretty awkward, the guy was totally out of it. I thought at the time he was just unusually drunk, but this sort of pattern started showing in his streams. I keep thinking of the saying "never meet your heroes"...

I have stopped watching because he was going from rated R to rated X type conversations and no longer seemed kind.

Its good to see someone trying to talk sense to him. His downfall has been sickening. He needs some serious help but he is going to have to want that help.

I haven’t watched Nick in almost a year. I am so heartbroken to see him this way now.

Lot of people here missing the fact that this isn't a video to shame a man for views. It's a video that shows a history of decline from the perspective of someone who watched for a while.

I just hate to think what the kids had to deal with. You can’t be drunk or high and not have it affect your children. It’s sad.

He fell into his own personal nihilistic hole and needs to seriously crawl out of it.

I'm finding it is becoming an increasingly disturbing trend that RU-vidrs who were once down to earth and seemingly good people are either found out years later to be complete monsters or have been corrupted by internet fame and money. I think it's happened more than enough times now that someone ought to make a video to would be content creators warning them of the dangers that come with the gig and what to watch out for (cancel culture, potential for corruption, toxic internet spaces/fandoms and internet "friends", grifters, etc.)

Rickets calls to mind what Lincoln said regarding a man's character and how power and wealth don't truly change it - they just help reveal its true nature.

Sad and most ridiculous thing was we were just called trolls and haters while we were lamenting Nick's downward spiral into degeneracy, and his "friends" had to wait till he got to this point to be concerned... yeah real friends Edit: I mean all the way back in August 2022 after hedonism 2 Edit 2: I can eat crow whenI need to. Watching Andrews analysis especially related to objectivity and the kids has definitely made me see him in a more positive light, and watching Uncivil's reaction to the latest news reguarding the kids made me remember it's really hard to remember the man we knew right now is gone and grace should be extended. I can't even stress how depressing this whole situation is, especially for the kids.

I specifically remember when he started out, he always had his superchat fans ask for him to do a shot. There were many times when he tried to ask his viewers to slow down on the shot requests. There were also all the gifts of alcohol bottles sent to him. His fans were enabling him and overly encouraging him.

When he sided with Vito, I knew it was over.

Looking back, it seems like he was always an alcoholic, just a functional one. The line between a functional alcoholic and non functional alcoholic is a thin one.

I’m glad I stopped drinking. Not worth the health and personal problems it brings. The accidents that arise, whether resulting in physical injuries or drama, can be just as harmful as what alcohol does to your body.

yeah, seeing him tear into Pippa, a young woman who could probably be his daughter, over her being upset that not only was her dream job put at risk but due to childhood trauma she is very afraid of strangers in general. To mock her over that, when she had never been anything but nice to him and even said she wishes she'd just done a collab and asked for forgiveness later was just so jarring. Sakana shot that collab down because he just didn't want the unreasonable drama it would bring from Twitter crazies, but man was he vindicated a trillion times over in the end. it was such a mask-off moment, and made me realize all the times he said "I'm an asshole!" it wasn't a joke, and my surprise was like that of the frog when the scorpion tells them "you knew what i was when you let me on your back.' that said seeing him now is really sad, i might think he's a bad person in light of those actions but i'd never wish this on him. hopefully he can get clean and sell a million balldos.

This video was recommended to me earlier today, and I hadn't kept up with Nick, so I watched, and now he has been arrested. What the hell happened to him? He had it all, and he is throwing it all away.

This genuinely makes me sad to see. My dad was a lawyer and he passed in 2020. Watching Nick cover trials and legal subjects reminded me of the conversations I had with him over the years. For whatever reason I hadn't been watching Nick much after he had Kyle Rittenhouse on (probably the ungodly number of anime shows I'm following every season because the industry is on crack). I think the last video of his I watched was with Branca, something about returning a T-shirt to the bar association or something. I only found out about the absolute state that Nick is in from a stream of ItsAGundam and the Quartering and I found this video after being shocked by what I saw. I'm not a religious man, but I pray as I would to the court, that Nick gets cleaned up and picks himself back up. It would be a tragedy if we permanently lose his quick wit, the kindness he once shared, and education he once fostered to the abyss often found in the shadow of success.

I have not watched "law tube" and/or haven't watched Nick in about a year. This morning, his face "flashed in my spirit" for lack of a better explanation and a sorrow in my heart, I did not understand why but just took time and prayed for him (because it was a deep sorrow). Now, 12 hours later, I understand why God put him on my heart (i mean this sincerely - I am going to continue to pray for him)

It's sad. He seemed like a decent family man who was finding a new "thing" he could do online to support his family. But it seems like his success exposed his true character.

I'm glad you posted this. Nick used to be an automatic watch for me, but he truly is a different person now and his channel is too disturbing and sad to watch.

He used to be a guy I watched every time he was on. But he really doesn't cover any trials anymore nor does he do anything on his night shows anymore that ain't drama farming. Dude was someone I would look up to and direct people to watch his shows, but now I actively warn people not to watch his stuff. But hey when the dude champions Vito and goes after Rippa (despite my issues with him) I just can't take him seriously anymore. To me he is no better than Amouranth or any e-thot girl that just needs drama to run their channels.

I used to see Nick as somewhat of an online dad for this corner of the internet. A man of principle, you could say. I stopped watching him about a year ago once I noticed just how unpleasant he started becoming, especially to people who really didn't deserve it. The man is fighting some demons, I really do hope, with all my heart, that he defeats them.

I stopped watching Nick when Camelot started appearing on the show. Camelot just struck me as a low grade grifter, and I could not understand why Rekieta would promote such a guy. I missed the whole alcohol and sex thing.

Hey, Mr. Tea! I had to stop watching Nick around a year ago and started hanging out with the FNT (Friday Night Tights) crowd more. Something happened to Nick. When he talked about taking psychedelics in his hotel room during his vacation after Depp v Heard trial (I think that was also around Anime Matsuri) that was when I noticed the shift happened. So I agree with that timing. If you ever want to advertise your tea, maybe the FNT crowd will be interested. Glad to see you're still doing okay, Mr. Tea.

Man this took me back to the old days. I had to give up a few years ago as I saw where he was heading. He’s not the first, nor the last, and I wish him the best, but the lack of anything I started watching in 2017 plus all he added (basically pure degeneracy and cycling through audience after audience) just was different. Then MANdy. He’s fallen apart mentally & physically. This could be too much for even money (provided by his rich parents) to help. As JLP would say: “I wish him well.”

I found Nick during a time where I was very alone. I looked up to him. I even wished that I had a father figure like him when I was growing up for a time. The drinking concerned me because of my family's history with it, but I figured that he wasn't related to me so maybe he had better genes for it or something. I can't even begin to express how it has felt watching him fall. I never could have imagined that he would turn out like this just a year ago. I pray he and his wife get the help they obviously need. If not for themselves then for their children. I wish I hadn't had to rediscover you like this Dragon, but I'll try to find some money for a sample pack or something here soon. Learning what happened to Nick in real time was depressing. While I didn’t watch him I thought he was pretty cool in his knowledge of legal advice in situations like those of Vic Mignogna. He is going to tell everybody that he is just stressed, tired or getting over being sick. He definitely lost weight because of the flu. Totally not anything else like addiction. I think he views himself as having dug a hole too deep that he can't admit that he's in a hole. He has used up all of his good will by lying, canceling content, never delivering on promises and deflection real questions and concerns. He is falling off and it's nothing hut his own doing.

Oh jesus christ he's fallen so much farther than I even thought. I found him during Rittenhouse and became a loyal viewer of his and other LawTubers. Started watching him less after Depp and stopped completely not long after his Rumble deal. Wasn't the same guy, wasn't the same show. Sad to see it's gotten even worse since.

One of the reasons I don't listen in to his streams as I used to is due to the fact he nearly stopped covering legal topics. I miss those days as well but I've pretty much moved on to other lawtubers who will cover and talk about legal cases that I'm interested in. I was also listening in all the way back during the Vic legal drama. I hope this leads to everyone's favorite redemption arc for Nick.

I really hope he sees this. I remember first seeing Nick as a guest on Ethan Van Sciver's stream years ago when he had like 30K subs. I enjoyed every show of his I watched. It was so cool to see him grow over the last few years. He was sharp, funny, and his trial coverage and legal analysis were great. With the shift to Rumble and my changing schedule, I haven't gotten to watch him much in recent years, and honestly, now I'm avoiding him because of clips like this that I always see circulating on Twitter. I have no idea what happened to him, but whatever it was or is, I'm sorry. I hope he's able to get help, recenter, and finds better friends. He deserves it.

On Tuesday i woke up (i‘m in Europe) and saw that Nick was live (haven’t watched him in months) and tuned in to see what he’s doing and it was at 3:48 of his stream and i was disappointed, disgusted and shocked to see him like that. If he doesn’t get help NOW i don’t know if he will make it much longer. I still hope he can turn the ship around, for him his wife and his kids. I haven't been a regular mod for Nick for a long time, but I still pop in from time to time. Nick hasn't looked healthy for months. He's lost far too much weight, so much weight that the collagen in his face is breaking down and is even causing his eyelids to sag. That's bad. Nick and his wife need to get healthy, through whatever treatment program it takes. In Nick's position, I would settle with Montagraph ASAP and get out of that legal money pit. Nick needs to hire the best criminal attorneys for his wife and himself that he can find, in the hopes that they can plead down to whatever charges will get them sentences of rehab, probation, and fines. I just have this feeling that he's planning to try to attack the legality of the search warrant as a defense, and that likely won't get anywhere. They need to do whatever they have to do to preserve their family. No amount of partying is ever worth losing your family.

I used to watch Nick most nights, from very early on. Ever since he came back from his post-Depp vacation the topics have largely changed, guests have shifted, and the hostility has increased. Due to that I've watched him less and less so now its been months since seeing anything of his. Seeing him recently is sad and I hope he gets whatever help he needs.

Camelot has never been for me. I think Nick hanged with him 2 much and was always trying to outdo Camelot. As a self-confessed easy to fall into an addiction person this really started his fall into way 2 much drinking and so on! I am very sad.

We should all pray for his recovery, to be guided away from those who've torn him down, and to hopefully save his marriage, fatherhood, family, and life. We all recognize he needs to get help. We dont want to see him fail and suffer like so many in the woke mob do. We just want the old nick back. Perhaps from this arrest he will get the help he so desperately needs and will save himself. Seeing Nick giving in to degeneracy is heartbreaking. The man was one of the best commentary channels on RU-vid, He was one of the first people to remind me that we still have freedom of speech in a dark time in my life. But now, it's as if all he wants to talk about is sex and getting wasted on stream. The only people he really wants to hang out with now are those who dedicate their whole channels to either sex or finding new grifts to exploit as much money from people as possible. This is not helped by the fact that he views Vtubers as a dumb fad designed to exploit vulnerable men to get money, even though there's more to it than selling merchandise. I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks that way because when he talks about Twitch thots, that's always what comes up. I hope that Nick will course correct or just stop altogether because he's hurting himself and the people around him.

I stopped watching Nick when he started doing exclusive Rumble shows. Then I couldn’t listen to him at work anymore because people always fuck shit up for everyone else so I couldn’t even listen to the vods. Seems like I lucked out and didn’t have to see his gradual downfall. I saw that clip of him and man does he look awful. I hope he gets some help because he was entertaining. Maybe when he wakes up he won’t be riding Vito anymore. Ugh. He always did say he was a small l libertarian. Guess now he’s a big L Libertarian. The downfall of Nick hits me harder than I thought it would because it was Nick that finally got me off my ass to become a content creator. I thought about it for years but then he gave a speech on one of his streams that finally got me over the edge and I modeled a lot of my early content on him before I discovered who I was as a content creator. I reached out to him a few times hoping to be a guest for a Chad dad stream because I'm a stay-at-home dad with four young autistic sons so I figured maybe I would qualify but I was ignored. Seriously, when he went against Eric July for Dick Masterson & Vito, later went against YellowFlash, one of his oldest YT buddies, I was out. Eric & Flash did nothing wrong, he sided with pure jagoffs. Since then, it was a sharp nosedive decline. YT success, booze and dope changed him

The only person I still regularly watch from the #IStandWithVic era is Hero Hei and all he does is make 1-2 Min videos about stupid shit on Twitter or stupid shit regarding Gaming/Anime. Why do I still watch him? Honestly I don't know, he doesn't livestream often, he doesn't use Twitter alot. It's just fun to watch and laugh at the dumb he showcases. I grew out of watching Rekieta Law after the Depp Trial and I'm glad before I really saw what was uo with him. Use to regularly listen to his streams while I work or game. I remember laughing hard about the stream he had with Drexel about the guy who had pegging videos. It's disheartening to see what he became and I hope he gets the help he needs. Nick is becoming a broken man and if he keeps this up, it will end up worst than just some arrest record. The people who will really suffer are his 5 Kids that I know he's tried so hard to protect from the internet.
