We're you around at the pod back in the day, (not sure if you or your dad were driving the top alcohol dragster)when tomorrow's world (I guess hand in hand with the phelps and fibre glass repaires) built a wingless slipstreamer top fuller? Maggie philbin was suppose to drive it, but it scared her silly, so dennis priddle had a go and damn near turned it side ways. The idea was dropped like a hot stone and the wing survived😅
Yes I was around and if you look on the you tube video of that program I figured in a fair bit of it. I was driving the alcohol car and crewing for Prid at the same time. She never ever touched the throttle as she thought it would take off on her! We knew it was ill fated from the get go, but you couldn’t tell the experts that ;) I can’t remember the Phelps being involved at all, but I may be wrong.
