C'mon Ashley. I have been waiting for you to hear and react to this song. "Y'all singing the heck out of it. C'mon Ash, this is a masterpiece. L.J. Reynolds sangs his heart and soul out to the woman he loves. You can hear and feel the pain as he sings. That voice is so powerful and cuts to the core.....heartbreaking. 🔥🔥🔥

He's been walking the floors Ashley, not mopping the floors, but it would've been funny if he was mopping the floors. Glad to see you really enjoying and appreciating the classic good stuff.
The Mighty Dramatics. The young people today was really missing out. But they done have too. Look up all The Dramatics Songs. Real Music not copycats!!!!!!!
Yaaasss, I clicked so fast!!! I’ve been begging for you to react to this song, begging harder than LJ was in this song 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It was groups like this that taught Keith Sweat how to beg 💯💯🔥🔥
My FAVORITE R&B group. These men poured out every emotion and left it all on the stage. If you ever decide to do any more Dramatics reactions, you'll enjoy these: Just Shopping Be My Girl In the Rain Stop Your Weeping Get Up, Get Down Door to Your Heart And THAT'S just scratching the surface. This is a great band...
The Baddest Vocal Group Bar None... including my boys The Temptations. The Dramatics took soul and r&b to another level. Their brand was the "Drama" UPS and DOWNS in relationships. Their song "I Think About You" is a good one. Their Dramatic Reunion album is classic. The original lead singer William Wee Gee Howard collaboration with the other members is off the chain... awesome. From that album songs like "When Love Is Over", "Love's Callin', "Razor Blade", "Somewhere In Time(The Reunion Song)" PEACE 🙏
Sometimes it's not as simple as staying with someone. Stuff happens and you find yourself sitting at home on a Friday night listening to love songs wondering what happened 😢
I am a72 yr. man who grew up listening to such groups as The O'Jays, The Dramatics, The Temptations just to name a few. Have you ever listened to a group called the Whispers. They are a knockout.
I'm 77 and you got a great list started....Whispers? Oh YASSSS; add The Chi-Lites, Stylistics, Isley Bros, Isaac Hayes, New Edition, etc. etc. etc. I could go on for dayz.

Speaking of In The Rain (R.I.P. to William ‘Wee Gee’ Howard), you notice how there are some sonic similarities between both songs (obviously both were produced by Don Davis)?
Written by John Brinson, Eddie McGhee and Floyd Fleshman. Brinson & McGhee wrote for a Cleveland group named Four Wonders who had a 1974 LP ‘I Can’t Get Over You’ which never materialized. Brinson later contributed on future Dramatics material. Produced by Don Davis, the song was released as the third single from the 1976 album Joy Ride in early 1977 (peaked at #9 R&B in June of that year). Saxophonist Eli Fontaine (played on Marvin Gaye ‘What’s Going On’, The Originals ‘Baby I’m For Real’) played tenor and alto sax on this track.
