I'm working on a science fiction environment for Mirrors Infinite. On the subject of FTL, I started by listing the type of drives. At the end I listed "Arcane," but didn't know what to do with it. After this video, I think the party's use of the arcane drive would be as follows. After the party installs the drive on their ship, they decide to test it by jump out one lightyear. After over a year of gaming, the ship emerges at the one lightyear mark in real space. At this point, the party decides it might be better to walk.
