The Driverless RAC Intellibus 

This is a change of direction for me; rather than remembering our past, I am reflecting on the future: I am taking you for a look and a ride on the driverless bus operating on trial in South Perth, Western Australia. (The video was shot on the 8th December 2022.) This trial, by the R.A.C. of W.A. (Royal Automobile Club), has three stages. Stage 1 was the development and testing on a private track, stage 2 saw the bus taken out onto a closed public road, and stage 3, which we will experience in this video, is on public roads, interacting with normal road users. My thanks to Andrew and Asher, the Bus' Chaperones today who did a fabulous job, and John who gave me more information on Facebook.
