GFRIEND a 6-Member girl group have such complex choreography and over the roof vocals. They have the best songs ever!

Fun fack: When they were trainees, their company was very VERY poor, so much so that Bighit was its subsidiary, so they did not have fixed vocal and dance coaches, so they hired a singing teacher for Yuju and a dance teacher for SinB, and THEY were in charge of teaching the other members singing and dancing, and the best of all is that they are now recognized for their great talent in dance and their powerful vocalists. ✨✨QUEENS✨✨

gfriend has always been popular in korea even before they signed with label, and they've been friends with bts members. also their ceos are close as fucc, they even uploaded a video of them ( the ceos ) playing lightsabers using like hero masks back then in 2013/2014 lmao

So gfriend previous management building was right across the street to Previous bighit building [ they moved coz they got rich] and BTS and GFRIEND made an advertisement in the earlier days. The companies are super close to each other and Bighit acquired them as they got richer. Also SEVENTEEN is under bighit now. Thats why it changed from BIGHIT ENT to BIGHIT LABELS. They are all on weverse.

Aaaahhh Sammyyy finally you react to GFriend ~ BTS and GFriend are my two top fav groups. Me myself became Buddy (GFriend fan) before I became Army. Both groups started with a very humble beginning, that's why I love them and support them so much. FYI GFriend is under Source Music, it's an independent agency before merged with Big Hit into their subsidiary label last year. They're still managed by Source Music right now, under Big Hit of course. CEOs of Big Hit and Source Music are close friends even before BTS and GFriend are created. In this MV you saw Eunha holding the glass bead (12:56), Glass Bead is their debut single, potraying their innocent side (they're known for their Powerful Innocent concept on their early career). And Apple is about temptation, which the translucent glass bead now turns red (14:03). In the previous comeback titled Crossroad, they talk about how they stand on the crossroad, considering paths of life. In this comeback they're allured to the dark side. And the next comeback album titled Walpurgis Night (will be released on nov 9th) telling story about the witches festival (if i'm not wrong hehe). But GFriend's overall storyline is more than that, just like BTS and TXT, they have broad storyline. The 3 groups' storylines are also overlapping and created Big Hit Universe story. I think a youtuber named Laina Sunflower does a very good job on describing their storyline. I can't cope tho- my brain will explode hahaha GFriend members are all great vocalists. I don't have to talk much about their vocals, since you might already know as soon as you hear them sing. They also known for their sharp and clean choreography since they debuted, earning title of Knife-Like Choreography. They started the trend of 2X speed dances on variety show Weekly Idol, and they really did well left me awed. They are also Queen of Synchronization, along with Seventeen that I assumed people give them title King of Synchronization. I hope you can react to their choreography/dance practices too someday.. Oh, and GFriend did collaboration in 2016 with Seventeen on award show too. Sorry I'm rambling too much, I am just sooo excited that you finally checked on GFriend, I can talk for hours haha.. Gfriend is my favourite girl group and they’re criminally underrated. They also have a complex storyline and all the members are incredibly talented. When BigHit acquired their label, Source, my ArmyBuddy heart soared. Apple was a new, mature sound for them and is one of my favourites by them. But all of their songs are seriously amazing. Can’t wait to see you react to more of their songs!

Sammy you should check out their choreography, their one of the girl groups in the industry with the most synchronised dance performance, they're also famous for doing 2x speed dance performance. Their music style is anison and nostalgic-like. They even danced on water in one if the songs called Love Whisper. Also check out their universe storyline, they are supposed to be witches.

their music quality is very good, you should check out their music video. their music is very rich, not EDM type. If you like anime, you should listen to GFRIEND music. they have anime vibe. And they don't follow music trends, but they make their own trends. strings, guitar, bass, drums. Many say that GFriend music is the same, boring. But contrary to the opinion of musicians, GFriend music is very impressive and difficult. I hope you keep listening to GFriend music ❤️

I'm so excited to see you reacting to Gfriend!! They are very much like BTS in the respect that they came from a small company and had to make a name for themselves. Apple is very much a new kind of song for them, but it is a style that they have grown into over the years. They are very much known both for their incredible vocals and for their dancing as well (the lyric video here didn't have the right part distribution for some, but there is a live radio performance that has great audio if you want to hear their parts clearly!). Both lyrically and visually, Apple draws on a lot of Gfriends existing repertoire. There are actually more "glass beads" in this music video than apples! Much like BTS and TXT, Gfriend's MV's follow a storyline as well. That storyline is only just beginning to become more than just fan theories. I highly recommend you give Crossroads a listen, it is the release preceding this, as well as their other MVs (particularly Fingertip, Time for the Moon Night, and Sunrise). Though honestly they do not have a bad song. My favorite Gfriend content, however, are there dance practices and challenges!!! They are the grouo that popularized the 2x Speed Dance because they were so excellent at it. This is getting long and unwieldy, but Gfriend are so incredibly unique because no matter what genre they choose, they make it completely THEIRS. They have a unique sound that is all their own and completely distinctive.

You should react to fever and labyrinth

they're witches/sirens! they lure you in by being innocent/beautiful at the start and once they have you they reveal their true sinister nature. that's how i interpret it at least. the video is full of references to witches in pop culture and has that sort of suspiria vibe (the original, not the remake).

That is the Glass bead which is represennting them. The apple represent the temptation. The turning of clear glass bead(them as pure) to red glass bead (them in temptation or the witches ) Every time you see clean round red thing that's the red glass bead not the apple. (Same as with the huge butterfly ) Their MVs are huge story. Beeter to watch out for the story in every MV. It is kinda hard for new Buddy but watch their "A tale of Glass Bead" that will give you a idea on the story. That is only 2 and for a couple of minutes.

I thought I would just give you a little introduction to them... Gfriend is under source music which is now aquired by big hit ( fun facts: big hit and source music's ceo are old Time friends).... It is a 6 member group, with complex dance, great vocal skills and a whole lot of beauty.... Now on the members- Sowon- she is the oldest, leader and also the tallest member( 173cm), she is the main rapper and visual of the group, she loves modelling and has also modelled for some fashion shows, She is like the mom of the group... Yerin- she is the 2 Oldest member, lead singer and dancer, she has a pretty funny personality and has one of the variety show skills in the group, Euhna- she is the lead singer of the group, and also the cutie of the group, she has the most aegyo( acting cute) in the group and has a cute voice, she is the shortest member, she was an old bighit trainee but when they stopped talking girl trainees she went back home and later contacted by bangpd( big hit ceo) to join gfriend, Yuju- she is my bias in the group, the main vocalist, she has the most slimmest body after sowon and also she is the 2 most tallest, she can do pole dancing, can hit great high notes, and can move the hoops from her neck, she is somewhat afraid of heights Sinb- she is the main dancer of the group and is great at hip hop and popping, she is a very funny person but many people misunderstand her resting face as rude, she was one of the oldest (time vise) bighit trainees at that time and than went to source music Umji- she is the maknea of the group, she also good at English, umji in korean means thumb, she is the lead rapper of the group, during her early days she was hated because she had some baby fat on her face😭,. And because of that she lost a lot of confidence at that time but with the help of her members she overcame it and through excercise and healthy diet had lose weight...
