The Duel (Door's Theme) - H:TP - Chapter 3 OST 

As much as we all love Door's speech, can we also get some love for Boy? I mean he nailed center mass with a snubnose at just the right timing, and even had a decent one-liner.

Seriously, this theme with the animation SOLD the duel so well, it became a western standoff with only side even having a gun! Thank you so much for this wonderful piece.

I'm glad such a hidden talent was credited properly by Alfa. This was an incredible piece in such a fantastic series. You perfectly set the mood with this track, along with your numerous other pieces of art. Looking forward to so much more from you, Mack! Truly amazing!

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT MUSICAL RECORD, BOY

Which one will perish first? The middle aged man whom has a revolver, a bomb suit, minefield and as a last cherry on top his boy waiting in the brushes. The vampire has diablerized 2 vampires making him incredibly powerful and has a shovel but as a negative he has lost a leg and was enraged. In the first episode a angry vampire was a predictable vampire was said and he also mentioned it, tho he had fallen for the same trick yet again. The reason is simple, he was cornered and creatures which only prey and are never preyed get frustrated for having to be cornered by the very prey they hunt. While the prey can keep a somewhat cool headed mind, because they know there life hangs between a rational decision out of a live or die situation. While controversial yes, Pyotr was not used to the cornered feeling and let the burning prideful anger in his chest take hold which led to his demise. Anyway I Absolutely adored this episode! Watched it like 20 times now. Each time I have rewatched it I discover more and more in the Music and background art. You guys did an amazing job. What you have here is a dream that only a few people have managed to do! I applaud ALL of you who worked on this project. Yet again this is getting LLOOOOONG. ALLRIGHT well done i need some time to cool off my smouldering brain.

Pyotr thrived in pushing people off balance, taking their words and throwing them back at them. Then, he met Door, who never wasted a word, and meant every bit he said. It's fantastic. God bless this series

One of my favorite bits about this scene is how whenever door and Pyotr are in the same shot Pyotr is shown smaller than door (him being hunched over an what not.) which contrasts nicely with how everyone else sees Pyotr, as a horrifying unstoppable abomination. But for Door, just another Tick to pluck.

Door’s old mining profession was one of the best twists I have seen in a while, and it was so subtle too.

I wasn't expecting a western, in England, in the World of Darkness. But I sure am glad I got one.

"BLANKBODY... how does it feel, being prey again?" I got like an actual rush, like I get from watching live boxing title fights, and went full poggers for the theme. It staggers me how good the series is.

This feels like an extended version of those... uh, in between stingers. Nice consistency there.

Gotta give credit where credit is due, in animations, when audio is present by opposent to big silence samurai jack style, they make or break scenes, and your songs have an absolute banger feel to them. Idk how much stringstorm work was put into the final pieces, but on that scene, in that musci, i felt the most Western Darkest Dungeon duel that could be, and that's no small part thanks to you. Keep up your good work, and may you be even more successful !

A SUPREMELY MADE SCENE, LIKE A PLATE OF FOOD WITH ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS DELICIUSLY COOKED AND PUT TOGETHER FOR A EXPERIENCE WORTH TALKING IN ALL CAPS.

Not only does this song perfectly match the stand off between Pyotr and Door, the way the horns almost lazily glide, helps sell both Doors and Pyotrs confidence, with the slow climb putting the Audience at the edge of their seats

When a man in an EOD suit aims a handgun at you while you both stand in a field, you know you’re screwed, especially when you ask yourself WHY he’s wearing that EOD suit 😂

After watching that scene, I had to find this track. Absolutely amazing work, it wouldn't have been nearly as badass without this playing in the background

I get chills every time I rewatch that showdown, and this track is a big part of the reason why. Excellent work!

This is one of those tracks, imo, that sort of creeps up on you. The first time I watched the face off between Door and Pyotr and this started playing I thought it was neat, but it wasn't really until I watched it a few more times that I really appreciated just how fucking well this track was composed when considering the scene and Door's speech. Also, totally borrowing this for a future standoff in my Roll20 campaign btw :V

One beautiful thing I would like to mention is, this duel was between two certain people. One who threw others in front of him to do the hard work and then betrayed every last one of them to gain power. The other someone who throws himself out there so the others can save themselves. Door is very in touch with his mortality, while Pyotor wasn't. On another note, this song is absolutely beautiful and fits Door's resolute Avenger creed perfectly.

I cant believe has been over a year since this came out. The IP its base its not from my liking since has the annoying thing of saying inkas and mayan culture are the same amoung other things, but alfa can make it good.

There's a subtle change I notice listen to this again, is it intentional or I just got Mandela effect

This song is easily the best in the series so far, at least as far as I'm concerned. Certainly helps that it also somehow fits the *exact* mood of a particular writing project I'm working on; I'll definitely be listening to this a lot in the near future.

Why didn't I jump in on H:TP earlier. This is one of the greatest western tracks in made in modern time and it's in a world of darkness fanfic of all places.
