The best part is they never really mined from that purple gas. It was just establishing an aggressive base to have production closer to the front.

First game was genious. He actually never lost mining time because of SCV all in because of the flying buildings.

I'm happy to see this again, once a month feels like too little for ICYFAR though, it's always such fun. I do get some of my fix with the Salt Mines, some of those ragefilled games ended up weird. :-)

I really don't like salt mines. Just has a bad vibe imo. Makes me feel jaded and cynical about the world and humanity. Kinda like how the news channels these days just want to show you things to make you feel outraged and angry rather than anything actually useful or informative.

the immortal one is pretty funny. I think immortal into disruptor, and shield batteries at main, so the disrupter can protect teh ramp and keep doing damage to teh thor and potentailly killing its repair units with splash... possibly a sentry, and destroying the medivac was good... but yeah, not sure if hes going to lose but turtling bakc to your base, or pslit runnig yor natural probes into potenial base zones jsut ot ahve a second possible base ot out mine and recover... hard ot say.. such a funny attack

The first game was actual high level Starcraft. That's some crafty map sense! The CC flying alone was cool, but the lifted barracks was just the cherry on top.

Crazy how afraid he was to just fight some stalkers. He wrecked them so easily at the beginning then got antsy after the immorts chunked him a bit.

@@quickdraw6893 Nah, he panicked after his base was being destroyed. People freak out so hard about that. Same with SC2 co-op. The mission has one objective left to destroy and we can blow it to pieces in under 10 seconds with our combined armies, but a wave of enemies starts attacking their base and you can see them frantically trying to defend out of pure rigid instinct. I'm just sitting there like... just A-move your stuff so the game can be over please. They won't destroy every single structure in time.

@@GruppeSechs True, and his refusal to just... lift the buildings away instead of leaving them to die. Like even if you aren't going to defend it, you can still waste your opponent's time with all of two button presses.

This was a very very common strategy in team games. You SCV rush and float your CC forward to ideally a gold. Then after your opponents panic and make static D you fall back and mine from the gold.

my cousin did something liek this many years ago... but that was genius... there is no fail, just go bakc nadm ine, I love it because on this map you can make sucha good contain and the rich gas is better then to regular vespenes jsut because of how it works! on this map, its gold.

First game was absolutely genius, I love the entire base proxy play. Bravo. The second game was so frustrating to watch. The Terran spent so much time doing nothing outside of the Protoss base and I was just screaming at my screen for him to get in there and do something. He probably should have unsieged and rolled in as soon as the stalkers were in his base. Third game was just a banger.
