Unfortunate that there's no mention of Joseph Coyne, the Penny Plunderer. A criminal from Batman with a penny gimmick. He's often where the giant penny in the bat cave came from.

The funny thing about Dogwelder is that there's two of them and the second one's more interesting. The second Dogwelder got possessed by the first Dogwlder causing him to weld his family dog to his children. After this he got kicked out of his house and divorced while the wife later got remarried. Dogwelder then moves to Gotham where he meets John Constantine who's one of the most powerful magicians in all of dc. John tells Dogwelder that he can talk through dead dog corpses. He goes to Egypt with Section Eight where it's revealed he gets his powers from a curse from THE EGYPTIAN GOD ANUBIS, but wait there's more. Him and Section Eight go back to Gotham where they learn two stars, Sirius A and B are going to collide. Section Eight then steals a NASA space shuttle and flies to the Sirius system. There, Dogwlder, using the power of all the previous reincarnations welds the two stars together, saving earth but dying in the process. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS CHARACTER

Nah. Kite Man has one of the best one-shots in all of DC history. The guy flies around saying his own name and when people give him shit, he gets super pissed off about it. Kite Man is the most human DC villain ever.

The funniest thing is Kite Man is actually sorta relevant still. He's a major character in season 2 of the Harley Quinn animated series on HBO Max, and Plastic Man's whole backstory in Batman: The Brave and the Bold is that he was originally a goon for Kite Man who got knocked into a vat of chemicals by Batman. Kite Man has found himself an odd niche as, like, one of the go-to villains for writers adapting batman if they want a small time villain to use as a blank slate.

Went to comic-con and there was a DC artist doing little doodles for people, I waited in line watching him get more and more depressed having to draw the normie characters, he's entire being lite up when I requested kite-man. Lol

Coney did not strike me as someone who’d read comics. If you want to read Berserk, just start from the first volume. Berserk is edgy for the sake of it but it’s still my personal favorite manga just for the art and Guts journey. It will probably never have a complete ending though; I haven’t followed it since the author died so I dunno if it was picked up by someone else.
