@@rileymaas1068 Yeah- i believe hes a Ringer employee, and does similar videos on their channel. I don't understand why there isn't Ringer branding and marketing on this page though (this is assuming Dime Drop is a subsidiary of their main NBA work)
@@supervillain246 In his first NBA game he was treated like the first option, something that didn't happen in college with RJ there, so naturally he'll take a lot of shot. Chill bro we'll see how he plays. He just took one to many jumpers is all
"Defensively, Zion is essentially like the Symbiote from Venom" is probably the funniest basketball comparison I ever heard. Makes exact sense at the same time though. Great breakdown, you deserve more recognition!
@@choncho2585 We're winning without purpose though. We don't have the talent or depth to make deep runs to a conference final and we have contracts on players like LMA and DeRozan (both of whom i'd love to trade for picks) that make free agency a no go. Once Pop leaves, which I imagine is in the next 3 years if not after this season, we're boned.
Of all the countless content that has been made about this over the last few days, this is simply the best. You always bring the goods. Dat law and order intro had me legit gasping
I was pretty surprised when the righteous minds instrumental started playing but it worked so well with the video. You deserve a lot more exposure for the quality of content you make
Dude the production quality of this video was excellent. Your commentary was colorful yet insightful, the clips always relevant to the VO, music subtle, and the creative intro was the cherry on top. Subscribed!
Ethan E I’m pretty sure some body thought they were gonna get footages of the earthquake reactions in the stadium. Not a video that’s talking about the players while quickly mentioning the earthquake.
The Dime Drop always has some indie/underground hip hop beat. First it was Fresh by Specifics, now you got Reality Check by Binary Star. Straight fire along with fantastic videos 👌
Awesome video. Me personally, I believe that the Los Angeles Clippers should stay with the same offensive system... An instead of treating Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as Superstars treat them more as super role-players. Only when necessary that they should start doing the pick-and-roll and the iso's. Cuz this is what made them so good last year. And they are two players that necessarily don't need the ball in their hands. The Clippers are a gritty hard-nosed well-coached team that is constantly moving the ball to find the open man. With two superstars they should eventually be able to score more efficiently and also a lot. I guess I'm saying to not overthink it, just play your same old team ball and whenever you cannot find a bucket, then it's time for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to tap into Superstar mode. Again awesome video.
3 years... Man i see the tide turning by the all star break this season lol their team is going to be badass, talk a lot of shit and be physical. Feelings will be hurt and the media will throw tons of coverage which will make the average fan whine about why theyre getting so much coverage. People initial reactions are based off how much they hate LeBron and the Warriors. So any move that puts a roadblock in front of them will make people temporarily happy. I see people saying that Kawhi balanced the league out that 10 teams have title hopes lol uh no Clippers are just the new superteam and tgeres still only like 4 (at most ) legit title contenders.
@@kevinseveneleven I love how they say he balanced the league by stacking the west even more and making the east weaker when it was finally recovering from what LeBron did to it.
Couldn't stop agreeing with everything you're saying. This is totally what I expected from Zion to start, NBA bigs are just way better, but you're right since he's in a good situation it probably will look a lot better when it's not in summer league. Mitchell Robinson is pretty athletic, but he's not necessarily the smartest interior defender. I figured RJ Barrett might be like this early on, there were several games at Duke where his hero ball shot the game away, but 4 for 18 looks pretty bad. And about the Clippers trade, it was good to hear you talk about it, I'm tired of these so called analysts talking about the Clippers like Lou Williams doesn't even exist or something. Not to mention Landry Shamet is already a deadly shooter.
Okay so this video is absolutely great, okay? But the Reality Check beat in the background definitely made me go look for my 'Masters of the Universe' album, lol.
I’m a Knicks fan so take everything I’m about to say with a grain of salt. But don’t you think RJ playing with more ball dominant players is good for his development since it’ll force him to develop more off ball and facilitate more?
The issues have been the same for RJ in a variety of contexts now, but yeah I would agree. There will be opportunities for him to grow in that sense with Knox, Mitch and Trier.
