Hello everyone! Today I have a bit of a sillier and more casual video showing you how I make my basic cap molds (which I use for my dice blanks). I hope you enjoy the video, please let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Sorry for any audio quality issues or volume variation, this is my first time not recording a voiceover. I hope to improve! Or....go back to voiceovers.

A major benefit of this kind of mold is being able to use items you have at home, but if you want to use what I do:
Silicone: amzn.to/3RIAiQB DS 10 Medium and amzn.to/3TNk8rO DS 20
Vaseline: amzn.to/48DSYaW
Clay: amzn.to/3tNhRlB
My Vented Squish Mold Tutorial: • How to Make Dice Molds...
Some links used may be affiliate links. I receive a small kickback from purchases made with my affiliate links, however, all products linked are those I genuinely use in my dice making. I am not paid to promote any specific product(s).

Thank you so much, as someone who is about to start this journey, this is extremely helpful. Not only was the video informative and friendly, i didnt get the snobby "so you want to make dice" vibe , not even once.

Thank you for providing this tutorial! I'm just about to get into designing my own masters and had no idea how to approach making my own molds. :) Now I've got a clue. ^^

That is pure genius! Using Vaseline instead of double sided or any other tape is a great idea and a great time saver! Thank you so much for the insight! Do you use same process for the numbered masters, or is it a tedious process of cleaning up the numbers after the vaseline?

Thank you! I almost always make vented squish molds for my actual dice molds, but I have used this style before too and it does work. Regardless of the style I always tape off the bottom face of my dice (meaning whatever face is going to be the cap-facing) to protect them from any Vaseline (or clay from vented squish molds) getting in the numbers! It’s a life saving trick imo ☺️

How long does the process take in total typically?

Thanks for the great video. How long can a silicone mold be used? And do you use Vacuum Defoame? I'm also planning to learn resin art. Thank you for being my inspiration.

Thank you! I typically get about 20-25 pulls from my molds before they really break down and get unusable. I don’t use a vacuum chamber anymore but it would absolutely work/help with removing bubbles from the silicone!
