@@acetrigger1337 in the ways it’s similar, it’s the exact same, in the ways it’s different, it couldn’t be more different. It’s fun, highly recommended if you liked the first one and also like 3rd person action
The only samples you’ll get from this though would be normal ones, which you can get line over 100 an hour on the right farm. I’d personally opt for the more efficient farming of one of them and then flip when you need the other one
My only suggestion to any farmer. Is to farm on planets with a near 0 liberation rating. As losing or giving up loses twice the victory points of someone winning. This actively ruins the galactic gameplay and story for others otherwise. Edit: Wow Im glad to see so many others also agree with keeping the war moving for liberty. Also after doing a fair number of these myself. Completing the mission until extraction is still under 10 mins, very fast! Which is a better option that contributes liberation towards winning instead of taking away. Edit2: With so many people saying this is false. I had commented below that this video pre-dates the dev response on twitter. But it seems many are missing it. Prior to the question everyone assumed losing a match counted. As the first game did this. My original response above is still mostly correct. We may not lose liberation by failing. Though doing a quick ten minute grind to help liberation still helps the war. Planet liberation is a hitpoint regen per hour and currently needs 100k players winning to overcome the planet regen. So any planet with 1-50k players remaining at 0% is not going to suffer or gain from rapid farming. It will always be at 0% making for no aid. However rapidly farming victories does help liberate a planet faster with over 100k players. Keep that in mind for high value planets offering appealing rewards. Check out (helldivers[dot]io) for a live feed of planet stats and regen can be changed at any time by the devs. Additionally super credit spawns were stealth nerfed in the early 2024 march balance patch. Prior I could find between 3-9 stacks of SC per match, 9 being very rare once every week. Now you can expect between 1-3 stacks per match as average. I have played many grind rounds and many normal. So can confirm we get less now. The early day SC boost is over. Which like any pay element game was going to get reduced anyway, its expected.
@@a.a5983 which would mean we were meant to lose the robot defense missions that popped up. which is a horrible choice. A large portion of the playerbase couldnt complete it . Level 6 diff was bugged and was harder than intended, the mission was listed as 40 mins and played with 15 thus spawning 40 mins worth of bots. A large portion of people couldnt actually get in to the game and would be booted due to server problems which made people fail/lose the mission. But instead of the devs helping the unintended server problem they let the defense mission fail.
@@C0ffeeGremlinhey, you don't like it, leave. These Devs have some kind of idea as to a plan for narrative. And sometimes, shit just gets fucky. That's life. And if the Devs choose to roll with that, might make things more exciting. But hey, don't let any of this stop you from making your own game with decisions you can agree with. A game made for everybody is a game for nobody.
Make sure to use a jetpack if you have access to it, you can usually use it once after picking something up and then once again to jump over a fence/wall before you get to next POI Edit: as @Yunisilebraid pointed out in a reply, you can use the slugger to shoot open containers/shoot down fences and it's even faster
Hello fellow divers! i have a genuine good advice that could further increase the rate of this farm even faster, in the warbond, for the armor at page 1 (scout), buy it and wear it for this farm, as soon as you landed, open up your map and you actually can hover around the map and theres going to be pop up of mentioning "Minor Place of Interest" EVEN without you going there. An addition, bring in your boys in to make it even more faster, note that some bunker requires 2 person, bunker generally give 50% of Super Credits all the time and you are sorta missing out a lot going in solo. Another advice, this is totally unrelated with above, for the SEAF artillery, you can spam the equip and unequip for the missiles to make it faster to reach your destination
I would also want to add in that Minor Place of Interest usually spawn in the range 9 until 11 being 10 for commonly the limit, with this info i hope it could save you a lot of time
I hate playing with randoms and don’t have many friends. My experiences with randoms in this game have IMMEDIATELY been no different. However… more is more and this is a clever incentive that I fully endorse.
I imagine this is even quicker if you can convince someone else to do it with you simply because of the buddy doors which I've seen spawn 3 super credit pickups on occasion, or you can just split up and do half the map each, or a quarter of the map each if you have somehow roped that many people in to farm with you.
I want to give you some important tips to save time. The first would be to use the jump backpack to save time on descents or easily navigate obstacles. Second, the Helldivers have a minimap which they can open and mark a location, instead, if you navigate the map with the cursor (slowly) it may reveal that there is some "low importance objective", it may be anything but usually they are samples, medals or Super Credits. I hope it helps you and thanks for the video.
Actually the key to the bug is: don't spam the collect button, sometimes it'll legitimately bug out the pickup and you won't get it, happens about 5% (or around that) of the time to me
My character locks up and cant move or shoot when I try to pick up super credits or req slips. Then it turns out that the collected super credits never get added to my character. Pretty bad glitch I hope gets fixed soon
@@Linkard It happened to me at every single pickup for almost two hours for me last night. Turned the game off when I saw everything I collected was not even there
I've made an edit to my 2nd point. I've pasted my original on the bottom in case people wanted to see the wrong conclusion I made. I have 2 bit of info to add to your video: 1- Difficulty does affect your super credit reward, but inversely. Any mission that can reward rare samples have a chance to replace what's inside containers with rare samples, thus making super credits rarer by polluting the drop table. Also it seems the higher the difficulty, the more chance a weapon can span in a container as well, potentially adding more junk to the drop table. Therefor the easier the difficulty, the better the odds of finding super credits. Point 1 extra info - It seems difficulty does not affect weapon spawn chance, I just got really luck/unlucky for the first few times I went farming. So farming these between difficulty 1 to 3 is recommended to prevent rare sample spawns from spawning over super credits. 2- The items that can't be picked up glitch seems to simply be an animation bug. If you don't complete your pickup animation and press to pickup again it will glitch the item you were trying to pickup. Just simply wait for the animation to end to prevent this. This only happens with medals and super credits from my experience, but it is possible it can happen on other items as well. Original number 2- Everything inside these brackets is wrong but I am keeping it for a reference in case people were wondering [The bug where you cannot pick up an item when there are 2 or more items close to each other is triggers by spamming the pick up button. My guess is this happens when the server is synching your picked up item to the server but the server is delayed so the second item gets tagged as picked up but the nothing is sent to the server, putting the item in a limbo state. You can prevent this from happening by waiting for the pop up on the top right of the screen to appear to indicated that the server received the info.]
@@STUPIDGUARDIANS i found it happen multiple times when doing a mission to just kill terminids, theres a small pond near spawn with like 8 common samples really close. you can quickly lose 3 or 4 of ur missions samples there. not sure which plaent. im glad to see other people are experiencing the bug though, i thought i was losing my mind xD
It feels like they adjusted the loot tables. Today's Trivial runs have a lot more weapons and requisition diluting the SC drops. Yesterday I don't recall getting a single weapon from a container and a lot more SC. Edit: I double down on that. Requisition drops have greatly increased to dilute Super Creds.
It's tactics like this and videos like this that cause developers to change premium currency available in for free models. It's happened with every game I can think of, after a few months they changed the rules - reducing the amount that spawn, removing it altogether, etc. Farm em while you can.
This isn't hard to work out, the video just saves people time. Your suggestion is saying to stop learning and spreading information which I obviously will not join you in, stay ignorant.
Decided to try this out with random matchmaking down. Always had the thought to try this even before the video, it’s actually a very easy farm but I’d only recommend it if you absolutely need an armor from the super store. Otherwise regular gameplay with get you what you need. The planet Durgen in Automaton space is great for this right now.
Good strat, I'll try this today. Fortunately they seem to have resolved the two item bug, but unfortunately, they replaced it with getting stuck any time you grab stuff from the points of interest drops. It's like 15 seconds of waiting unable to do anything. Game is great so far just looking forward to seeing these bugs fixed.
depending on spawn rng, in a 4 man team, u can get 80 sc per run, assuming its a tight spread for POIs and no connection issues, server stability problems, u can get up to 960 super creds / hour
I would love to see a lore video on Helldivers from you. There are some special location texts in the missions that point to an interesting, dark background of Super Earth.
2 tips i found while griding, 1. is that compass above can help you find PoIs if you have low visibility or its well hidden/small PoI, 2. is that u can hover over the map and unmarekd PoIs will still be shows (only in text tho) and you can mark them and go straight to them, hope I helped :D
the text showing up only happens sometimes which makes me think it is a bug that will be patched out once they’re not inundated with server issues. good looks though.
@ The set I use has the servo-assisted perk and I still see it most of the time. Given that the Radar Tower task on missions reveals all of those POIs as a reward for completion, I doubt they intended to have them visible at a glance like that. I think if maybe it was added explicitly as an addition to the scout perk that would be kinda cool. But IMO, the armors with the scout perk are already the strongest armor sets. Idk, we'll see what happens. Hopefully they don't lower the spawn rate of SuperCredits either lmao.
@@malachiflannery9093 for me it only works while having scout on xD and i like it that way since the name itself is like so fitting, but yea imagine if they made a daily sc limit 😭
Could you do a video explaining how to find the POI's quickly? Because sometimes I have trouble spotting them, especially at night. Btw, I started watching you from your FromSoft stuff, and it's awesome seeing you branch out to other games like this, keep up the great videos!
compass will sometimes mark them with a question mark when you are near them. ALSO if you are far away from them look in the sky. you will see very faint white beams above them a lot of the time.
you can also do the radar side objectives if you'd like to see the exact locations of everything. not every poi has a yellow beacon, so you'll miss some if you do it his way.
If you weren't aware you can actually pick whether the mission is day or night. Simply look at the planet in the mission select screen and you'll see it has a light and dark side. Pick a mission that's on the light side. It will even have a little icon of a sun or moon. So far all planets I've seen rotate west to east so picking a mission further west in the day will ensure it doesn't turn to night in the middle of the mission.
you can open the map and mouse over every map square individually, if there is a minor poi or tactical asset you get the option to mark it with left click regardless of visibility or radar station. edit: i cant seem to replicate this today anymore, maybe it got patched out with the newest patch
I love seeing you cover this game. And you’re also doing such a great job covering topics that most other people don’t cover. Other videos are like “you can aim in first person”
With the bug of not being able to pick items up, i’ve found that waiting for the first animation (wait until your helldiver puts their hand back down) before collecting the next item stops the bug from happening. Ever since i’ve waited for the animation to finish i’ve never had the bug happen to me again.
Don't know if anyone else has commented it or if you made a video on it, but the double reward glitch you addressed is crazy! Please make a video on it solely or a RU-vid short just to spread that knowledge
Most of the time I hate the hell out of microtransactions....but to be fare if you have atleast half you can spend like 2$ to 4$ you can just buy them....like I said Microtransactions suck but at least its not something crazy like 20$ or 30$....I guess it all depends if you want to grind or not....at the least it's not behind a huge pay wall like most games are getting nowadays
Hi, how many Super Credits containers can you usually find in a trivial difficulty mission? Also, does returning to ship instead abandoning mission also work? Thank you.
Thanks, might need to try this in order to keep myself playing this game. The only things I'm lacking right now are pink samples, medals, and Super Credits, which I'm not getting enough per 30-40 min mission to stay enthused about playing.
The fun to be had in this game is subjective, but I think most would agree that farming for credits/samples/medals is nowhere near as fun as actually playing the game as it’s intended. If you feel unenthusiastic about playing, then maybe it just isn’t the right game for you
After doing this for a bit to get an explosive resistant medium armor for 400: I think flag raising seems to be the best map. All pois are in a circle around it, the map is relatively open and you get a lot of pois. You can just hover over the map until you get the minor place of interest text and pin it. Enable the compass for poi detection. Being a team could also be useful for the vaults. On an unrelated point. I hope the devs add a resource sink for requisition slips and samples otherwise especially samples might get completely ignored by endgame players. Perhaps they should add a promotion system like DRG for lvl 50+.
I was doing Trivial or easy mission since they seen easy to find spots and are small so there was a method for my thinking, I would recommend go to planets without much mountains or forest so easy to move and spot, I bougth every ligth armor after the first cycle and 2 helmtes and still had money for premium bound and now planing to buy next cycle
To further expidite the process use the jetpack to travel faster, and grenade launcher to quickly blow up the containers. Also the snow planet is much easier to see the beacon beams
This is min maxy but if you see something that cause a lil bit of damage to u like a mine on the way to a POI, let it do damage so you can stim up. Stimming not only recovers health but running stamina to max as well.
You can do this on trivial missions with a squad of 2+ and the way the game generated points of interest is heavily favored. Anything below hard the pods will only have credits medals or weapons. The zone is almost devoid of enemies so more points of interest spawn in a fixed amount within 100m of each other. You can easily get 1000 or more (plus a nice chunk of medals if you're already grinding for that sweet fire shotty) in less than a few hours.
Will it add up to your credits if you quit the game? Im askin because if you quit the game it saves your current mission progress meaning i can just get the credits in the same area.
As neat as this sounds, I would be spending more time gathering all resources to upgrade my wears and equipment and would have my friends and I just running around crunching the time. It would be neat that they have it so increase in difficulty means more resources to gather but have to face defenders and what not to get them. They are updating the game often so hopefully this comes to mind for them.
I haven't seen a super credit 10 missions in a row, and I've combed every square foot of those level 2 maps. I mean there's not even the containers, beacons, or 2 man door bunkers on the maps at all.
Once you start doing this for a while you'll be able to recognize the type of POI from the map image. It's only some types of POI that spawn Super Credits, so you only rush to those and avoid the useless ones.
I want to add the bug where you cant grab the other pickups happens when you click too fast. If you grab one thing wait a second or two then grab the other thing it won't bug out
The bug regarding not picking up an item, but it is left behind and doesn't get picked up. Don't spam the pick up key/button quickly to pick up things, slow it down a bit. This will stop that
Im just here wondering why no one uses aim down sight. Whenever i play i see people spraying in a delay to where theyre looking. Aka the line with the circle in it. Or they crouch and shit. You can just aim down sights and make it easier to aim. R3 when aiming for me. Circle when aiming for a friend
Actually, not only that, I've noticed that if I grab the super credits too soon after opening the crashed ship, it is more likely to not register. Has happened a few times.
To those worrying about abandoning missions. I believe it was confirmed that it dose not affect progression on liberating a planet at all. Meaning there isn't any progression gained by enemies or allies.
They would lose a lot of goodwill for that decision. I can't imagine this will stop all that many people from buying super credits. I'm not gonna be farming like this since I would rather spend my limited time playing with people and extracting if possible.
just a super small thing I've been doing- when there's the explosive barrels by the bunkers, move them to the door and shoot it with your pistol. really small thing but it might save you having to wait for a resupply for grenades
I totally would try this but im experiencing a bug where all of my super credits are now missing. Lost 720 of them just out of the blue. Now amy i pick up still show up as zero at the end of the match. So dang frustrated right now
Pretty icky that an hour of running around optimally farming something funlessly nets you two dollars toward the next update. You might as well go work for doordash to farm super credits, it's significantly faster.
Found a away to about the bug, just pick one drop, wait until the prompt comes up and grab another object, if you spam de pick up button it gets bugged
It maybe because of updates (since this video was posted) but the Arc Thrower and even better the Slugger primary can open the cargo containers as well. So you don’t have to bother with grenades and makes the farm even simpler. Great guide video, thank you! 👍🫡❤️
Wear light armor, preferable one with the medic passive, I believe that's what it was called, this gives you 2 extra stims giving you a total of 6 stims, just keep popping those and you can run for a long long time lol. There's also a booster that gives you more stamina and stamina regen, I'm not 100% sure but if you can't use the stims at full health try damaging yourself a little with something, setting yourself on fire for example.
You can easily get enough credits by just playing the game. I would just be thankful you can get them by playing, most games nowadays would never do something like that.
