For the first time in almost a year Alistair and Douglas are back out on some Munros together! This hike seems them doing the trio of The Cairnwell Munros at Glenshee Ski Centre (The Cairnwell, Càrn Aosda & Càrn a'Ghèoidh). These are quite possibly the easiest Munros you will ever do!

Brilliant Guys! Fantastic wee walk! I took Abi here last year and she loved it! She thought all the Munros were like this! I took her to Ben more Next! 😢😢😢. Lovely to meet you both and I am sure we will bump into each other again! Cheers. Paul

Nifty you ran into Paul up there. And it's pretty funny that that shack on the peak has all those stones on top of it. Makes it look like it rose out of the ground. Glad you got some views in the end.

Excellent watch and great to see you'd done these while I was researching. I'm off up this way soon for a holiday nearby and have been granted a days bagging by the Mrs but hearing how easy they can be she's now suggesting she joining me. I'm sure she'll be fine and it can be one of our wee days away. How long did it take you guys to complete the circuit? It was great to see you'd bumped into @paadventures1 too.

Excellent, that should he a nice day out! Just be prepared for the steep climb up to the first summit. It took us 4hr30m, which was at a fairly leisurely pace.

These were my first Munro’s. Bagged them about a year ago. I remember the paths being really rough and rocky below the ski tows and the Cairnwell is a real eyesore but the views are great when you get a break in the clouds.

Good stuff Greig! Yeah, you’re absolutely right about the paths in the ski area - probably more designed for skiing rather than walking I guess. How many have you managed to bag since then?

@@HighlandHikers I’m on 16, most of them have been in the Glenshee and Angus region. Been itching to get back out as it’s been over a month since I did the Glas Maol 4 a combination of bad weather, family commitments and catching covid has slowed it down. Always enjoy watching RU-vid vids of these places to keep hungry for more.

I might make an exception and take the chairlift up these ones. They look so horrible so not even worth wasting 500m or so of leg work climbing these 😂. May do the Glenshee 6 and just tick these ones off the same day!

The best bit is walking out to the furthest Munro but some of the man made structures spoil the other summits slightly. The initial hike from start to first summit can only be 40ish minutes so it’s not exactly a hard slog if you didn’t want to take the chairlift.
