Thank you for this. I'm new to 3D modelling and I had been having issues with threads. I had been offsetting the threads, i just didn't realise I had to do both sides! You're a legend.

Chamfer on the top of the thread is useful. Makes it smoother, stronger and live longer.

How to make the thread on the cylinder surface with ready chamfer? The chamfer is larger than deep of minor diameter.

Hey just a bit of feedback, the beep noise at the beginning was super loud relative to the rest of the audio. Glad i didnt have headphones on!

@Creative3DP to get the right audio level without bursting your ears off ill put some random youtubers video in my timeline and then adjust my editors volume, then i know how much to adjust my own video afterwords
