Yes, you look great 😎. I had the same problem and I scratched all my hand trying to upgrade to led lights, To remove those lights it was a pain in the butt. To install the new led lights……omg I thought I was going to take the bumper out….… luckily I found a great looking guy that had a really easy way to replace those lights. Sir, thank you for your helpful video. Your video saved my other scratched free hand.
I watched several videos on this subject. I ended up just prying it out with a screw driver like you mentioned. No one is ever going to care that I scratched a piece of plastic on a tag light housing. And I was finished in under a minute. Thank you for the video.

Try changing the headlight bulbs on a RT. I take my dash off and top panels. I tried the remote no see method and got a result like you. Maybe with the hands of a Geisha.

Maybe if you stick that up in the hole and get it on either side of the big black thing, you might be able to push it towards the license plate while you work with the ice cream spoon thing on the outside??
