That was really interesting to watch. Just look at condition of that lot , absolutely immaculate. Only today I was mulling over to lease my own unit but seeing this I'm thinking I could buy a few year old unit that's like nearly new from here !
So now that the whole Stobart operation has been sold to Colina who are owned by Muller of Germany , how bitter sweet it must feel to have the golden oportunity of Brexit to British companies like ERF who would by now be supplying Stobart as fast as they could make trucks . But no , Stobart is now no more , only those trucks left on the road are shunting other peoples trailers and the trucks themselves are all foreign . How sad .
What a massive operation they have.. achieved by hard graft.. Where's Fiona? That's a Herculean task to prepare all those tractors and trailers and manage to auction off all of them. Normally only see that level of efficiency by or in Germany. How often does an auction of this scale and proportion occur I wonder? Mind boggling.. Where's Fiona ? : 0) Last I heard Stobart has over 2000 trucks making a delivery ever 6 seconds.. I am surprised if any other haulage firms manage to survive.. Cavewood became Jonas I think and I know of Pulleyn Transport Reading way.. last I heard..
Eddie stobart are the best they gon from not many truck to more I think William and Eddie have made the company amazing with loads of drivers stobart deserves a prize for the best business
So much debt, not exactly the best way to run a company You have accountants that can't count. Best keep away from this one or you'll have more than burnt fingers
The company's policy is a totally wrong one. Units are absolutely infected inside, and no one in leadership takes attitude to stop this situation. It is not fair to the drivers who like cleanness and they are clean (as persons) and well-meaning, looking well after their wagons and trailers and trying do doing very well their jobs in all this daily stress. IT IS NOT FAIR!!!
No Soft Lad its the migrants working for peanuts and the foreign registered trucks running riot with rates. And I speak as someone who ran his own trucks years ago, qualified MAN and Scania fitter and drove trucks for too many years. Come Brexit we can kick them out back to their own countries.
Hi guys my name is curtis and I think that working for stobart is a great job and I know someone who works for stobart his name is steve richardson and he gave me some of the stobart uniform that he had in a suit case and I ware that stobart uniform for work 3 days a week
@@PRBRP91 yeah right. Do you not agree he undercuts to get work like. Carrot.nice new lorry. Finger in every pie to do with haulage. Na sorry.not.much sympathy
@@davidharr25 so you mean to tell me other hauliers offer customers better rates ? So maritime and Wincanton not to mention DHL, they dont undercut anyone else ? Sounds like bias to me ....
They pay better than most hauliers , the problem with Stobarts and many more companies is the office staff have know idea of what's really going on out on the road. The pressure of timed deliveries, collections, roadworks and closures ect. this in turn has created poor working relationships with driver and planners. The auctioning and selling of used vehicles is something they've always done, trailers go every five years depending on its application and tractor units every three years.
Eddie Stobart ( Founded by his dad name was EDDIE ) Now run by his son WILLIAM & possible onto grandson WILLIAM Jr ( HOPEFULLY!!!) in future is Britain's GREATEST. & most popular haulage company loved by many , many of hundreds of thousands of people of all ages. It has such a big fan club that it seems it will never end. 👍😀. The trucks are extremely well looked after & the driver's I have met are extremely well polite & will stop for a photo or two & a quick chat & maybe for the more famous divers will always be glad of a autograph aswell. ( That's a nice bonus) & Those who disagree with my statement U SAD ACT LOOSERS!!! 👎😬
Th3 St1g I used to deliver to a lot of Tesco distribution centres and you'd always hear the Stobart drivers moaning. Another guy got his license just so he could drive for them as he was a fan, he stuck with them for about 6 months then jacked it in as he was sick of the way they treated the drivers
I have worked with many ex Stobart drivers and they all have had the same low opinion of them, they are told to wave back to fans and allow photos and if fans such as yourself think it's so great why don't you get a class 1 and drive for them LIVE YOUR DREAM and watch it become a nightmare if it was'nt for Tesco this firm would go under
