Clever gravel idea. Easy to.do.. I've seen other tutorials make holes in a PVC pipe.. I dont have tool skills. This is much better. Thanks.

leave the paper towel roll inplace as its relatively porous and will act as a conduit for moisture to dissipate into all areas of levels in the pot...........

I've used a PVC pipe for years.....................gonna try the gravel.

could I add a rose bush or lavendar to the top?..I have a large strawberry pot with 12 pockets. Will try the gravel idea. Thanks
