Thank you so much for giving a shoutout for the Daggerfall: Unity project! There are a lot of things about Daggerfall that I find conceptually appealing, and I went as far as making it run on DOSBOX, only to see my enthusiasm first wane due to how archaic it felt and then be mostly crushed by bugs. You showed me just want I need to give this game a second chance!

Anyone else hear of the original developers of Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, making a spiritual successor? They have a discord, they seem to be accepting ideas, there is nice people in there. It's different than "Daggerfall Unity", that Nate Mentioned

I've always had a fascination with the Dark Brotherhood in TES II Daggerfall. Both because they more or less threaten to kill you if you *don't* join them, and because their guildhalls are just sitting out in the open in any given town.

One of the best parts of the Daggerfall mod is that when you end the quest you can store all the items you can get in a chest and be transported in time, starting Skyrim, making your character both the Hero of Dagerfall and the Dragonborn. Due to that it's highly recommended to learn all the Daggerfall spell you can like Levitate, Troll's Blood or Feet of Notorgo.

I loved that City Overhaul mod when I had it enabled but my problem was it messed with quests. Like the npc's I needed for the quest got lost and confused so they'd run in circles or just stand in one spot.

This is crazy how new mods still come out in 2019. I love it because Skyrim is my favourite game and I'm going to play it until TES 6 comes out or even more if I don't buy a good PC on time.

That first mod alone is enough to have added this entire video to my mod list for later use. I've been looking for a good alternative to the standard (and still somewhat nice) vanilla armour and have finally found it. I just love the fact they all wear gambeson under their armours, even the scout's leather wear, since - even though it'd be better to have mail - it add just that more realistic protection to the set and makes it all seem more feasible. It looks almost like what the Roman Empire's soldiery could've been like had it survived into the medieval era. Thanks Nate. For some reason, you seem to have a better selection than MxR mods (not trying to diss him or anything, he just seems to have gone downhill a bit).

Oh my, I need to get both the Skygerfall mod and Unity remake. Daggerfall got me into The Elder Scrolls as a teenager, and over 20 years later the game still holds up as one of the best open world role-playing games ever made in terms of scope and ambition.

These are always so depressing to watch when I play on the switch.
