I like watching speed runs but I like to not make my game a race. Frostfall and Campfire installed as soon as it was available is an example to my point. I also like to qs before conv to explore dialogue
I vote this for canonical Dovahkiin. Not some ferocious berserker, or ultra arch-mage, or impossible thief-ssassin. A guy with a bucket who backtalks everyone and casually reads world breaking accords during his own wedding.
@@yashkaushik6116 literally every other elder scrolls game has more in-universe character customization than skyrim which forces you to be the literal fucking dragonborn superhero destined to save the world lol, in daggerfall you could fucking choose your character’s reputation in the creation menu
There are two ways to play Skyrim. 1) Just do things you are supposed to do and experience a great RPG. 2) Embrace how extremly broken this game is and experience the weirdest of things.
lol doing things the way you are supposed to is exactly the way you ruin skyrim and even most TES games. Skyrim's base game doesn't even work well as an rpg. Most need mods and exploits like stealth archery and the good old bucket on the head and steal everyone's stuff to enjoy it.
yeh "i guess i am at the wedding looking at the elder scroll in the future while fighting this dragon in the past that existed 5000 years ago. oh whatever its all fine"
xLttPx well humour is subjective. Just because you don’t find something funny doesn’t mean it isn’t funny to someone else unless ofcourse you are the perfect being, which I assure you my friend, you certainly are not.
I wouldn't say this has anything to do with socializing or lack thereof, after all this guy still was doing a speedrun, which takes up part of your concentration. Perfect emphasis and delivery is second fiddle then. And while he wasn't funny as in "a perfectly set up comedy routine" I'd say it was pretty entertaining, apart from instructive, and had a couple of nice lines. In the end you weren't just watching 45 minutes of speedrun and glitches happening.
Ralof/Hadvar getting to River wood: There was a black Dragon flyting toward White Run... Gerdur/Alvor: Oh yeah, but it was defeated by the Dragonborn few hours ago.
Hawkecrail Search "nerdcubed choose your own adventure" and find the right path. It's a private video, so you can only get it if you get the right sequence of videos.
I remember when the XBox 360 version was run at AGDQ2013, and someone offhandedly mentioned that the negotiation scene doesn't happen if you end the civil war quests before that scene, and Chrno briefly pondered whether that would actually be faster.
Saw this in the Stream yesterday. It's my highlight so far! Many cool tricks and glitches and a funny comentator. :) Had to stop watching after it. Can't wait for the Fallout Speedruns to come to RU-vid!
I like the idea that the Dragonborn woke up from being passed out in Helgan, automatically knew what to do, and was like, "Fuck your magic and 100+ hours of gameplay, I'm gonna grab this bucket and get shit done," and did all this in 46 minutes so they could just chill in Skyrim and do whatever. Probably go back and get married, actually buy the horse they stole, etc.
Just going to explain it a little better since Jones didn't really do it too well I don't think. The way it works is if you leave helgen cave with hadvar then alvor will give you free shit because yo you are the dragonborn and you need to go to whiterun to tell the jarl that you are the dragonborn, so you have that inventory open while you have alvor's shop open (because he is a blacksmith bro) so you sell the free shit he is giving you to him for free goldies.
Simon Carlile You click on some part of you your inventory ex: Weapons then drag it up to his prob like weapons then click on his items and it sells them
@Riley Dahlberg I just did a "100%" playthrough (Not counting radiants) for the first time, and I've never done the DB storyline before I literally hated it, I don't know why but I just had a knot in my stomach the entire storyline.
Can someone explain to me how the sprint speed glitch works? cause last time i watched a skyrim speedrun they used the torch infinite sprint, but this is even better lol.
1. Sprint 2. Quicksave 3. Let go of the sprint button 4. Quickload Do that really fast and you should be infinite sprinting. It takes a little bit of practice to do it consistently
Way back when the game first released, 9 years ago, we all loved the bucket because you could just put one on an NPCs head and steal everything around them. Good times.
This helped cheer me up, I heard some not good news and now I'm up at 1 am, and I found this, keep up the good work everyone who does this and the commentator, thanks for making my sleepless night one bit better
Love the run, I've learned soooo much from watching this & I had many great laughs as well, especially during your glitch showcase, 52:00 was my favorite, when the arms went away, all I could think of is "blame it on the skooma"
Good thing is you can watch this speedrun if you never played the game without getting spoiled, because he does literally none of the things that you actually do (and are fun) in the real game.
this guy did a GREAT job with commentary, ive watched a ton of these games done quick, and this was by far the most interesting because of guy. well done buddy.
Watching this Speedrun every time i dont know what to do xD. DrTChops is really entertaining! Much respect for that man speedrunning one of my most loved games!
...... damn, just watched Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and now Skyrim speed run..... its 4:17am, i am almost half way through this run and i am going to go back and play Oblivion the moment this stream ends
That's the best speedrun in the entire world. The dude is funny. So that's a thing. He has a GREAT voice. He could do ASMR. He's talking and explaining clearly all through the run while having a crystal clear relaxing voice... And he is funny. He shows nice glitches at the end. We can't have something better, this dude has set the standard.
@Sans nope. Because the 360 does not have the quicksave option. You could possibly do it in the Special/Remastered edition since it's just a remaster of the first game and they didn't bother patching any of the glitches because you know Bethesda
