Another cool video, long as hell but worth it. I would love a full cost breakdown including the tools you had to purchase in order to make this vision come to reality.

Beautiful bike bro. You made what iv’e always wanted see, an electric cruiser using a classic frame. Best looking Emoto iv’e seen….and would actually buy!

That's a beast of a build man, I think you just gave me the courage to Tweak my Huck Cycle to something even more bad ass. Would be awesome to ride with you on my Huck, but my bike would never be able to keep up.

Do you plan on putting a real plate on it? How are you getting around daily driving with no plates?

Great build. Curious what the 75 Mile range entails. Seems a bit low for a 88AH battery. Are you doing city or mainly highway miles and what do you think your avg speed is?
@ItsMallie
@ItsMallie 4 месяца назад
For my test i don't like to do extremely low speeds because its just unrealistic to me especially for a bike like this so the avg speed was about 45-55 so keeping up with traffic in the city. Now me im only 125lbs but bike is about 450lbs with a really beefy wheel to move and not very good aero dynamics especially with the ape hangers so im assuming that those things plays a big role And one thing i didn't mention in the video is that the range was being tested during my previous video which was the go pro 12 vs ace pro and i chopped it up alot but you can hear and see it was also very windy during majority of the test and the road i was doing a circle on has a pretty steep hill that i went up over and over again so those are also going play a big roll.

@@ItsMallie appreciate it. Usually from the vids I've watched that size battery should be pushing past easily 100 miles going 30-35 but realistic riding with not exactly flat roads and windy conditions, over 500 lb+ load it makes more sense. I'm torn on doing a e-build like yours for a susuki frame vs a bomber/Sauron style bike but I'm def leaning on a full motorcycle conversion if I'm planning on long road rides like yourself.

why did you went with a mid drive instead of a hub motor? sick build btw
@georgeforeman89

Mid drives have a lot more torque. I’m not sure there’s much out there (widely available) that is more powerful than a qs180 90h right now either. They are certainly much more difficult to mount because of the customization that is required, but mid drives are a lot more efficient.
@ItsMallie
@ItsMallie 4 месяца назад
Well pretty much because what george said, Now im no expert in all of this but First: Not much mid drives that will fit this bike can do what the qs180 can but the only mid drives that may push the same or more power are the qs 273 17x6.00 which is for like a sports bike and the rim is way to wide for this bike Or the QS 268 Which if im correct is ultra powerful... but only comes in from sizes of 12-14 which is way to small Second: One thing i dont like about hubs is they are kinda limited. With hubs the only way to get more torque or speed is through flux field weakening or voltage where as the mid drives have flux, voltage, and last but not least gears! so having a hub would mean i would need an even higher voltage in order to do the same speeds as the mid drive but i will say when it comes to torque hubs might be better because the sprocket you could put on a mid will give it extreme torque but will really lower your speed where i think the hub will automatically give you more torque while still maintaining slightly faster speed. Third and kinda one of the main reasons: I just thought the bike would look better and keep the rigid style of a bobber better with a mid drive yeah this reason might be a little goofy but I personally think hubs look best on mopeds, mini bikes like groms and sports bikes and yeah i could have built an even bigger battery with having a hub but I just like the look of the mid so much better But i don't know if i could afford the right expensive ass hub AND the huge battery i could build if i went with a hub
