It really is a hidden gem. Great location. Easily walkable to everything.

Chophouse was very convenient. The hotel is actually a nice location. We walked everywhere. Didn’t need an Uber the whole time. The street where The Eliza Jane is located was pretty light on traffic as well so it made getting around and crossing the street a breeze.

Please, let me know how your trip goes. The location is amazing. Close to the action, but tucked away on a less crowded street. Let me know your honest thoughts.

The Creole House, just a couple of blocks from the hotel, was really good. I highly recommend the Po Boy sandwich that had peppers, bacon, jalapeños, and shrimp. Bread was delicious. Fries were terrific. As mentioned in the video the Chophouse was amazing. My steak was cooked with Cajun seasoning so it brought a little of the spice from the area. The beignets are very filling. We had some from the famous Cafe du Monde. An order of 3 was more than enough. I think our favorite beignets actually came from a place we stopped at on our cemetery tour. They were a little lighter and not as dense as the ones from Cafe Du Monde. The name escapes my mind. Between the two dinner locations, free breakfast, beignets, and maybe some cocktails, we were pretty full.

The location is phenomenal. Just on the edge of the craziness. Just far enough way, but still very accessible if you wanna check out the quarter. Glad you enjoyed the stay!!!!

Glad it was helpful. It was a small place with lots of unique designs. Very quiet as well. Especially up on the 5th floor. Was dead silent.

It was. I was surprised. They did a good job keeping the old look mixed with newer finishes. It had a lot of character for sure.

The drink in question is called a Bayou Sling. Here is the description from their menu: Wheatley Vodka, Combier Pamplemousse liqueur, lemon, grapefruit. It was delicious. Even of you don’t like grapefruit it was a good mix. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
