Have been watching this entire build , and your attention to detail is next level and the car looks absolutely perfect, the stripes nail the look of that era .
Wow, I'm an Japanese engineer and was watching whole story from the beginning and I never have seen such astonishing restoration done with this car. Great job!!! Hoping that the new owner will take the best care of this car.
I absolutely love the attention to detail you put into everything, and it's obvious that it's for the love of the car and dedication to the process. 👏👏
Knowing you were in the home stretch, your enthusiasm to reach the finish line put so much joy in your voice. I frankly don’t know how you are going to part with this. 😱 Now… take a half-day off! And thank you for the playlist! Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍👍
I used that rubber coating in a can on the rubber bumpers of my XJS. The original rubber was horribly sun damaged and pitted, I didn't want to try and fill the original material as filler wouldn't have been flexible enough. I power sanded off the oxidised layer and that rubberised coating filled in the remaining porous surface beautifully. They look like they would have when they left the factory and are ridiculously easy to repair if I ever need to.
Anyone that has seen any of your videos would not question your obsession with perfection. Great job Sarah. You have put so much hard work and research in finding parts. Central California watching
Yay! Best content producer on the interwebs. One of the best builds of an awesome (in my opinion) Toyota from days gone by. Thank you for all the hard work kind Sarah, and sharing the journey with us.❤
This version of the Supra was probably the best non-exotic car you could but at the time (I was 19 in 1982, so I was there), and Sarah’s refresh of it has been absolutely brilliant.
This series has been amazing to watch. I've never seen so much attention to detail restoring a car, the car looks amazing 🤩 Shame I'm not able to participate as I'm in Europe but who ever wins it you are one lucky person. Awesome job Sarah 🎉
This Celica build has been fun to watch, love the Graphics, love the Sabbath shirt, the car looks like new. Your test drive will be fun I’m sure. I graduated in 1984 and our auto shop students along with the skilled teachers help built a Celica (year ? Can’t remember) It was a first Gen. they put a Chevy big block 454 in it called it the Chevota and it ran high 9’s 1/4 mile. Always loved the look of that car and this one is awesome too.
I was right, the stripe looks awesome, I detailed cars and pinstriped using vinyl tape for 50 yrs, from age 14 to 64, great job. Especially being black, SWEEEEEEEEEEET!
It looks even better than a brand new one without the need to travel back in time! Loved this rebuild series with all the 80s twist you put in the edit. Congrats Sarah, now let's rock this playlist!
Being an 80’s kid, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this series. Giving props to an era I hold so dear always brings a tear to my eye. Thank you for such a great trip down memory lane. BTW, love the “More you know” references. I was hoping you’d fit a “School of Rock” reference…like the one that explains what a Bill is lol!
I don’t think I could have much more fun when I watch a video. Still informative, but it has the Sarah twist of humor. Isn’t it wonderful to have Charlie around to handle those other tasks which come up! What a fun series it has been and it is all because of you. Press on Sarah. We’re here, the long and the short timers to the end!
Hi Sarah, I've really enjoyed every episode of the Supra build. Plenty of tips, fun and laughs. The end result is spectacular! Only one problem...I can't enter but will continue to enjoy your vids from Australia. Looking forward to the continuation of the celica. Well done girl!
you are absolutely awesomesauce, Sarah. Congrats to finishing this impeccable project car! Been watching you for years, and look forward to your perfection and "very high standards" to come!
This is such a stunning build. I loved the entire build series and can't wait to see it in the sun! The TRD knob is such a beautiful final touch as well. This is so beautiful! Thank you Sarah!!!
Watching this restoration/give away from New Zealand. I fondly remember these cars and its been awesome watching you do your work on it. The car looks amazing.
The joy on your face when it was done was just awesome. You just have something special in your person and work that is so unique and awesome. The detail, likely from your own personality, your patience, skills, decision making, your USAF training/work is exceptional. It looks like something that could be in a museum (like the Peterson one in Los Angeles). I checked out your playlist. I agree with almost all songs on the list (I am likely your parent's age or a bit older at 68) but a rock fan for life and will link it. Thank you for entertaining all of us fans of you.
Those side graphics are on fire! What an awesome retro ride! Great job Sarah! BTW the playlist also helped to bring back memories of the eighties. Saved!
Love the series. I learned to drive on a 79 Celica (in 1996) so this brings back a lot of memories of doing work on the car with my Dad. The Supra looks amazing!
Incredible, just incredible! Your level of OCD on these cars is to be applauded. Truly so wonderful watching Sarah and her passion for perfection! Love these restoration projects as much as the car reviews...! Keep the amazing vids coming.
Two thumbs up !! Ride height is perfect and the exhaust system sounds great. Nice job!! I would have installed a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, too. Take care of yo'self !
Thank you for your dedication to excellence, hospitality and respect you have for each of us and yourself by explaining your reasoning for every decision you make. Incredible work Sarah!
It's the little things you throw in that make you priceless, the solution for the window trim was bloody brilliant, my '98 Escort will be thanking you this time tomorrow!
This is absolutely the project I've personally loved the most (though the Ranger was a true joy to watch). You did the Celica Supra proud! It looks amazing and I completely understand your love for this '80s classic. Thank you for this series.
The love you put into the maintenance and upgrading is abnormal. your standard is so high, and you keep going further every time. It is a pleasure watching your videos, especially your choice of words Ik love what you made of this oldtimer. It can compete with all the young timers and some new ones to. I would love to drive this car, knowing how much love you put into it. SUPERB.
Have followed this build from start to finish, and it's my favourite of all your projects. The car looks absolutely stunning, really great job. I have just listened to the Supra 1982 mix and brilliant choices.
I love this car! Seeing how this came from a pretty decent starting point to this amazing work of art is both a testament to the quality of your work and the incredible design by Toyota.
Great work, @Sarah. Your attention to detail and hard work is inspiring and the results are excellent. I used to have a Celica Supra. Loved it. Such a fun car that always put a smile on my face when I drove it.
Well done Sarah, respect to you. It's been a great journey and fun following this project, and the hard work put down on it. Also, thanks for the playlist, I will listen to it while cruising :)
This playlist is tickling my Gen X memory neurons from when I was just starting to pay attention to charting music. Also, that gearstick knob is absolute fire.
wow the car looks stunning you have done a perfect job in restoring this car it looks better now then when it came of the production floor when it was made very nice job done Sarah .
Great job ! a true work of art. My favorite cars are 80s Japanese sporty coupes especially Toyota & Dodge/Mitsubishi. The sporty graphics are what gave them personality.
The striping was definitely the right choice! It adds so much more visual interest than otherwise. It looks amazing! Your attention to detail is equally amazing, Sarah! Well done! Very well done! Thank you for your most enjoyable content and effort! All the very best to you and your compadres!
