Paul, I am so sorry ... sadly I was in the hospital (Vietnam Service -Agent Orange issues). First thing I did when I got out was go here to your site. Good luck with what ever your choices are. I'm 75 (9 years US Army) and my art work has always been my sanity stake. I do hope you keep at it Paul, as I have used gold leaf since the 60's and your personal attempts at it woke that part of me up and I've been doing reverse image for most of my friends ... I still do commercial airbrush work ... but after watching those years ago I dragged out my pin stripping brushes too... Thanks again Paul ... good luck with your future endeavors mate.

By far the best instructor, teacher, inspirationist on the planet youtube. Your emotional strength just amazes me. It is awesome that you share your home, your family, your refuge with hundreds of visitors and must feel devastated to have to apologise for the mishaps which have occurred. No wonder your strength is drained....take a very good well deserved long rest without worry. The pressure is off, the weight is off your shoulders...give time to the family, do something different and return when the need grabs you. Man, I’m sorry to see you go HG. I really learned a lot from you and will continue to watch your videos to help me navigate the immensely challenging art of glass art & gilding. I’ve been a carpenter for most my life and have been running a paint and finishing business with my brother for the last 7. I almost just hate houses now😂. Stuff always goes wrong and it always costs a fortune. I’m so sorry about the double flooding at your home. That sounds horrible and traumatic. Keep on producing your amazing art and I hope the best for you!
