I am planning on playing on hard and starting in 1850. I would like to try to spend more time in the late 1800s since usually that time period gets skipped over while waiting for money to come in. I am also going to adjust some of the maintenance and investment settings to hopefully offset the ridiculous profits. I think I might not have been clear about the cities for the next series. Personally, I like the city growth mod and how big and sprawling cities can get with it. However a big trade off to that is finding the right balance of number of cities for the map size. I think this series had just a few too many cities and that is why it was getting hard to keep up and the distance between them wasn't too realistic. So for the next series I am keeping the mod but there will be fewer cities and a bigger map. I am looking into ways to have much smaller cities as well as large ones so the map doesn't feel so empty between "major" cities.

I am hoping to add many more steam locomotives. I want to stay in the early steam era for a while and build up our transport network so we aren’t just waiting for money to build up through the late 1800s
