It's very much like Hindusim, which inspired the game along with Buddhism. In Hinduism, Shiva is the destroyer god. However, he destroys the world not to be evil, but rather to rid the universe of evil and make way for new life, as Brahma the creator breaths new life into the universe. Vishnu's job as preserver is to keep the world going and maintain harmony until the world is eevntually corrupted beyond repair, at which point Shiva comes in to destroy the evil. It's hard to understand, and there's this whole thing with a multiverse and eras of time where like one inhale of Vishnu is worth 10 billion years or something crazy like that. The final era, the Kali Yuga, is the time when the world becomes corrupt, and the end of the Kali Yuga signals destruction. We are in Kali Yuga right now, actually... And the world IS pretty corrupt... Anyways, out of all the religions, Hinduism and Buddhism are some of the most complicated and interesting in that they focus on spirituality, but also everday aspects of life. Like there's gods and stuff to worship, but it is also up to the individual to carve their own path to moksha/nirvana. I think its really cool that the devs chose to base their game off of those religions, as seeing Greek and Norse stuff for the millionth time is kind of boring (still cool though). I just feel like the Eastern religions and mythologies don't get as much exposure as the Western ones, which is a shame, because they're cool af. Like in Hinduism, Krishna's ultimate Vishwaroopam form has like 100 heads, 100 arms, and 100 legs, and he takes up the whole universe with just his big toe or something. TL;DR: Hindusim and Buddhism are really interesting and deserve more exposure and unique representations like in Asura's Wrath

@@LtCdrXander Well I still dream that someday Asura's Wrath will recive a remake, though is almost impossibie. About these mythologies a new game called "Black Myth Wukong" is at working and will probably explore more about hinduism or budism

what I really like about that its that him doubting,shaking and been unable to continue its represented by him failing the QTE's as if to show that we as the player may not be Asura but we are his unbreakable,unshaking desire to move forward

They have meaning and impact behind them - that's why they feel right there. You beat the thing up - you cause the action to happen and it has sufficient impact... it just... belongs there. It's hard to put it in words, but it's example of great design - it improves the gameplay and fun you get from the game. Also makes it more memorable in a way.

Mexgar that last bit in this video is the epilogue for the main story. The Lost Episodes are spin-off DLC’s where Asura ends up meeting “people” from another Capcom franchise.

The epilogue takes place 860 million years later, (which is insane mind you. To put into perspective life on earth existed for around 230 to 300 million years) and takes place in semi modern times with characters who have a striking resemblance to our boy with a nod to the cover art at the end

I would like to also mention the weapons he holds in his first form. The trident one is called Trishul. The Trishul is Shiva's main weapon and symbol, and it is also weilded by Durga and her alternate form Kali. Shiva's Trishul often has a type of drum called a damru connected to it. The Trishul is one of the main symbols of Hinduism alongside Om/Aum. I'm not sure about the other weapon he holds though. His many hands are also performing various mudras (hands and fingers in different positions), but off the top of my head I don't remember any except for Anjali Mudra (hands together in praying position), and I don't feel like looking them all up lol

That line *never* fails to make me cry every single time. I love how the final battle is universal in scale, but the games final moments is a tender, deep personal moment between a father and daughter

DLC on this game is worth it, not like $9,99 dollars for dumb fortnite v-bucks.

The fact that the devs decided to release the unfinished second game as a DLC instead of just letting it go forgotten was a wonderful move. People hated it back then since they didn’t understand why they locked the true ending behind a pay-wall, but knowing the truth behind it made me so thankful they did it.

Well Chakravartin does draw the infinity symbol at 12:45 and there's multiple concept art images with a similar theme, not to mention the game describes Chakravartin as "omnipotent" so you're not far off

@@lebron73 it sorta does in perspective to Diavolo, since he's the only one that can "exist" within the erased time, and moves while everything "does not exist" then comes back into existence once at the end of the time that was skipped. Imagine it more of a timeline of a vide, but rather than 3 seconds being clipped out, it's a 3 seconds that gets skipped for everyone else except for Diavolo.

The reveal that Mithra was the narrator the whole time is something I don't see anyone discuss, even in the niche fandom of Asura's Wrath. I remember my mind being fucking *blown* by that one last reveal. God this game deserves a remaster

If you start giorno's theme but it's the best part and autoplay contiunes with vento d'oro (giorno's full theme) it syncs up perfectly with the fight.

No instead get a compilation of all of Asura's best moments and sync it with banjo baby and don't post it on tiky tocy. Then take episode 11 and so how much of it you can cut down, and fit time wise, into the symphony within the episode.
