Asura's voice actor is Liam O'Brien. If you want to see more of him, he's in, like, a million anime and games, and is also one of the stars of the d&d show, Critical Role!
And he is also good ol' memetic "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!" Akihiko Sanada from Persona 3. Seriously he is a very exceptional voice actor with a crazy wide variety of characters - I mean ypu her him here voicing Asura - well he was also the man voicing Gollum for "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" and "Middle-earth: Shadow of War" dilogy... And did it so well he was almost indistinguishible from Andy Serkis.
10:23 well, a bit: Oni is a version of Akuma where he has lost all his honor and morals/standards also, trivi: in Japan, Akuma is actually named Gouki, which means "prideful demon" while Akuma is goddamn *devil*
@@DanielFoxy1999 I'd still recommend doing it chronologically. The ending scene is a nice callback for the playerbase who's been around since forever but it's really just a nice bonus, and the story works much better if you do it in order.
@@shl6367 Well.He could make a lot more videos, I assume. Both the side quests and the minigames are super entertaining and it's a quite long game, after all.
Actually, Episode 15.5 begins shortly after the Yasha vs. Wrath Asura fight (ep 15); and ends in the middle of episode 16, when Yasha is punched out of the room and meets Asura.
Yakuza kiwami I feel would be more fun as it has a better system to gameplay and I feel a faster story which would fit better. Also the majima everywhere system is just unbeatable. Also the story I feel is better in the fact it is more conclusive.
This game is like in my top 3 of all time and i really loved this series, for the next game i would absolutely go crazy if you played Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch it has great music (studio ghibli) and also has some animated cut scenes made by studio ghibli. if you dont play this game thats fine obviously we love anything you put out but i think you'd really enjoy it
So, I just binge watched this whole series I just have to say that this game has been all of my childhood and it's still a game i'm most passionate about (that and okami). You playing this game is pretty much a huge blast. This was definitely a good use of my time and breaking my sleep schedule. I look forward to watching more of your videos! :0
I just wanna point out that when Ryu uses his ult on the moon he knocks down the cliff that was knocked up during the fight with augus, and i think thats a really neat lil detail.
Loved this series from start to finish! As for other games, if you want to here more of Liam O'Brien being a badass pissed off deity in a cool action game, then I suggest you check out Darksiders and it's two sequels!
Now that I'm thinking about it, Jotaro, Asura , Kiryu, and Kenshiro all have those moments where they just punch people so many times that it looks like they hit them like a thousand times.
Not gonna lie, one of the best series that you ever made, only because I'm a big fan of Asura's Wrath, keep the great work Mythy, see you on the next one
I was waiting for this dlc yees I m so happy someone that i wath finaly covered everything about this game most ppl just do main story dont fight the dlc boss after the story and a lot didnt even know about the street fighter dlc YOU ARE GREAT
Personally, I’d love to see you play Bastion. Idk if they have it on PC because I played it on the 360 back in the day, I love that game and I hope he sees this. Love ya Moo! ❤️
I rate your Walkthrough series of ASURA'S WRATH ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+10 Amazing. Successful. Special. The performance you showed during the entire series made me laugh. I can tell you showed a great deal of interest in the game, the reactions you had to every part was something similar to child like wonder (Which is not a bad thing!). I hope you get more subscribers for your channel as I shall be a Subscriber of MythyMoo! Best of luck to you!
I want to say, that i really enjoyed the series you've been making lately, and would love to watch anything you really want to play, because you a really cool dood :D. However I would recommended for you something to play alongside Ghost of Tsushima, i would say finish Nier Automata. The feels that will hit you at the end is as touchy as Yasha's death. Well, that's all. Have great day!
ive heard some people say they wanna see yakuza, and i cant help but echo that sentiment, loved the series and all your content mythy, keep up what you always have
yay another episode about the next games i'd recommend: Nioh 2, it's way better than the first one finish Nier:automata, litterally "suffering the game" love your vids see ya
Myth it was a blast to whatch such an amazing and emocional gameplay of one of my favorite games for the ps3 :D thanks for those sweet memories my dude :'D I´d love if you could play brütal legend or splatterhouse next XD keep up the good work and thanks again man :)
I recently found your channel and I have to say I really like your content. I especilly apreciate how you try to give your thoughts on the characters and story and your theories on what will happen. You don't see that a lot these days. I want to recomend you two of my favourite game series that I think you would enjoy. Do you want another punchy game with an emotional story that will definetly get you invested? Play Yakuza 0 If you want to play a JRPG with adictive gameplay and deep lore play Trails in The Sky Yakuza is the best beat em up I've ever played and Trails is the best JRPG I've ever played You can't go wrong with either of these Peace man
that yasha fight happens just before his team up agaist deus not long before. yasha is literaly being thrown out of the door by that punch when asura meets him.
also asura uses several street fighter moves on that dlc including the shun goku satsu a move akuma does that can destroy the soul of the victim. the one that ends whit the 天 symbol on akuma's back.
How dare this not appear in my notifications immediately tbh still showed up in recommended but still the principal of the matter also great to see this right after work I'd recommend shin megami tensei digital devil saga for the ps2 or really any smt game it would be fun to see how you fare against it
Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma are what-if versions of Ryu and Aluma respectively that were consumed by the Satsui no Hado (evil dark martial arts energy). There's also 2 versions o Evil Ryu: The one in the Alpha games that's just Ryu in darker clothes, and the one used here from SF4 Arcade Edition with torn clothes, a more demonic appearance, and a hole through his chest with a large scar on his back in the rough shape of the Ten/Heaven symbol that appears on Akuma's back when doing the Raging Demon.
Both Akuma and Ryu use the same fighting style, one built on the Satsui no Hado, which is often translated as "murderous intent". Ryu is able to use the style without tapping into the hado through intense training, and Akuma maintains very strict discipline to be able to channel it without losing control of themselves. When either of them *do* lose that control, and surrender to the power of evil, they become Evil Ryu and Oni, respectively: immensely powerful beings driven purely by a thirst for violence and death
That animated thing with Yasha is actually after his fight with broken down Berserker Asura (or Wrath Asura, as that form is better known), and shows how exactly Yasha got his ass beat by Deus before Asura got there.
Hey there i am a bit awkward with people so all i want to say is that i love your voice, your editing, your videos, also you can comment things so well. I really appreciate you as a person and a content creator. To me you are a really sweet and important person. Keep doing what you are doing, love you.
the sequence with yasha and deus happened just after yasha defeated asura's berserk form. if you recall, asura went after yasha some time later to find yasha being launched through a wall by deus where this dlc ends
If this is canon somehow then this mean that Asura is resistant to sol destroying moves, because that move that Ryu and Akuma use that the creen goes black is the Satsui no Sado or Raging Demon, with destroys the soul of the objective, wich is sick
I don't know if you've never played it, but I'd love to see you do a Shadow of the Colossus playthrough, it's a short game that's only 3-5 hours long, but it's an absolutely amazing experience than I'm certain you'd love.
I think you should do Code Vein! It's half price on the PS Store now, and I put this on your last Asura's Wrath video, but I just thought I'd post it here too. It's a soulslike with a great story and different endings. Definitely recommend it.
I'm not sure how you feel about shooters but, Max Payne 3 has an awesome story on redemption and a badass soundtrack to go along with it. Add in the super cinematic gun fights you'll get into I'd highly recommend it. Probably one of the only games I'd revert to previous checkpoint just because the gun fight was so good it gave me goosebumps. You also dont really need to have played the previous games either.
