i watched a few clips of the old crew. Since then i’ve been a steady viewer since jaymo, gut, and matt started, but the company has just developed great since. ya love to see it!
Having a platform online that is available behind a paywall - with png’s of players and different game types that is easy for the user to set up - would be something I would personally be enticed by. For example I’m going on a bachelor trip and would love to play these types of trivias with the boys. I can make like sporcle but they aren’t as good as yalls
Fax. I’ve recreated a couple of the trivia’s for my boys. Would definitely pay to have ease of access to creating trivia’s or even just psd files of games you guys have made
My favorite types of livestreams is watchalongs. So maybe you could livestream you in the Office watching bigger basketball games during football offseason or like the draft. Then during the football season watchalong to like NFL redzone or specific games
The sickness definitely wasn’t a weekend thing, think it was a NY thing lol, half of my employees called out for a few days, people from my gym were MIA & family members that I don’t live with, got it also, something was in the air lol
I’m no scientist, not even a marketing major. but i think changing the youtube channel name and getting away from the Trivia name could be good. this channel does trivia, but also a lot of other amazing content. and if im a person browsing the web i would think the channel is only for trivia.
It’s probably a few steps in the future, but a trivia app would be awesome. It would probably add some new ways to monetize over the website (i.e. a free option with ads and a paid option that removes ads).
It feels weird when Nick was talking about everyone’s age I’m 24 and idk feels like these dudes are older and it just feels weird that I could be vibing with these dudes on a daily.
You should add a paid service where you can build your own drafts and compare them with the community, maybe a “consensus BDGE” that dynamically changes by collating members’ picks
1. I'd be so down to do fantasy drafts, that sounds dope. 2. I need confirmation that Nick chooses the music because I feel like every song is from my 2015 pregame playlist and Nick is only one old enough to choose this music
I mean when you look at it in a business standpoint you need to somehow monetize the games in some form or fashion. If you could put ads on your website for the trivia game then you could promote a "no ads" membership or have a membership with extra bonuses on top of the free stuff, extra trivia games, access to previous days games, access to unlimited tries, able to play against other people online. You could also require people to sign up on your site to play the trivia. This would open you up to emailing them about products and promotions which would be invaluable to keeping and gaining new customers. Of course this all depends on whether people are willing to pay for that but I think if you promote the product enough you will have returning paying customers.
yeah i think the pushback for this would be, in the case with advertising, that basically makes two separate products, one that is bad (with advertising on it) and one that is good (monetized without ads on it). If we monetized through allowing more of the good (setting up a membership that allowed way more extra stuff), then it would essentially also provide two products, one that is good (basic, free, no ads) and one that is great (monetized). both paths allow two versions of the product route 1: one bad, one good route 2: one good, one great
Bruh no way! I just found out GUT played for ESU! I literally live right next to stroudsburg in mount bethel lmao. My sister is going to esu next year too. That’s crazy
Hey boys, I think having a summer intern that specializes in baseball could help out a lot for BDGE. As it’s own thing, I could make mlb trivia as an occasional thing to nfl trivia and also give out betting advice.. I’m also very knowledgeable in football. I’m 19 currently playing baseball at JUCO but have been studying baseball ever since I can remember. Just a thought!
I love the content, and I also spend a lot of time on fantasy. I also don’t use UD and I’m not a member, the biggest thing for me is because the live streams are posted after the fact. There’s nothing that drives me to spend that money, I’m not sure the solution to flip people like me. Maybe do some Brett Kollman things, where you gate content people are wanting to see
if you play a lot of fantasy, doing the drafts on UD before the season kicks off is probably the best way to prepare for your drafts because they're $3 to join - so they're low stakes, but still money so people take them seriously - much better than the mock drafts on yahoo or espn
