Not only was there a Spartan in DOA4, they also put the Hayabusa armour in Halo 3 multiplayer. That could be a Ninja Gaiden thing, but still, he’s in DOA lol

Never got into DoA like that but even I could see the depth with the combat system and yeah, even I got tricked by the "it's a boobie fighter" at one point.

Dead or alive dimensions and dead or alive 3 were also rated r for teen. The first dead or alive game that was rated m for mature was dead or alive xtreme beach volleyball.

I remember i picked up DOA 4 at EB games at the end of the 360's life cycle, and I don't think I've gotten my ass rocked so hard in a game before.

Aquarium stage! I loved them in doa3, vf4 and kof2000. Why did they stop doing it in later fightings...

Doa 5 had a lot free costumes. Like a hell of a lot. As did Doa 6. No one ever mentions how Doa 5 and 6 free content rivals the pay content of any fighter.

Just for your interest, deformed snow/sand was also in vf4. But of course, doa series was always THE graphical showcase (but vf had cool stuff as well sometimes)

I think Itagaki's gameplay sense was strongest in Ninja Gaiden 1-2, while with doa perhaps he wasn't that much "serious"

i've never played DoA. for me it is a game with gorgeous looking women and breast physics lol. but, hearing stories from different people on the internet, i would love to try it out one day. which game do you prefer to start with though?

the fighting from 5 and 6 are better but you said that 4 is more fun soItagaki make the game fun so He is missed a lot

4:23 Actually doa dimension got very nice story(and this game was even before mk 9 became a thing),and after doa4 we got story mode instead of arcade....but i agree that doa 6 really wasted potential on raiduo and phase 4 and story mode as whole,and doa 5 really was not a great story(beside false kasumi story mode)

Doa6 is fun. A lot of hate plus all the woke pushback caused it lose support early.
