I like this Manga. It follows both boundaries and characteristics both fusions have. Although Vegito can probably go UI, he may struggle more due to the fact that Vegeta controls more of Vegito. Gogeta went UI easier maybe because Goku is more in control, therefore he can apply that experience into the fusion.

Vegito was always my favorite fusion ever since the buu saga but seeing both of them pushing themselves to the limit like that makes me think that since they're both fusion type warriors, there powers are completely limitless imo.

I've always believed that each Fusion Style has their own strengths and weaknesses with the main difference between them being how each of the Styles focus the combined fighters' energies, primarily on a mental level - each Style tends to favour different mental attributes, and thus one component fighter's personality is chosen to be 'dominant' and shows more within the fused fighter. Potara Fusion focuses on maximizing the resulting fighter's Power Output and creates the best possible 'fighter', so the more aggressive and reckless Vegeta is chosen as its dominant mind. Metamoran Fusion focuses on synchronization of two fighter's Ki through the usage of the Ritual Dance, with the best result allowing the fused fighter a perfect blend of Offensive and Defensive strength and choosing a dominant mind best suited to making use of these strengths - Goku is much more level-headed, so he would be chosen to control this form. This is why both Fusions are so evenly matched - as long as the Fusion Dance is properly done, the battle between Vegito and Gogeta is like pitting Goku vs Vegeta, except these two are _both Goku and Vegeta_ with their combined Ki and known skills available to them. It could almost always go either way every time...

That’s always how I thought of it. Gogeta is Goku’s style and experiences but with the seriousness and viciousness of Vegeta while Vegito is vegeta’s style and experiences with the silliness and nature of Goku resulting in starkly different personalities but one is definitely mentally and emotionally superior.

Nightskystories Yeah it’s their personalities that differ despite them being equal in power. Though, I don’t really think that either person has more control over the fusion, it’s a whole new person, body, and personality. It just so happens that they differ so much and I just see it as coincidence that their qualities can match their two fusees. When someone acts like someone else it mostly just a joke like, your Vegeta is showing, or something like that. Honestly though, it’s ironic how different they are, if you look at their personalities, you might think Gogeta is mostly Goku, Vegito is mostly Vegeta, but when you look at their fight it’s the other way around, Vegito is more enjoyable when he’s struggling, just like Goku and Gogeta is more enjoyable when he’s just stomping, just like Vegeta. The manga shows this by having Vegito struggle and Gogeta dominate most of the time. You can also make the opposite case because Vegito was fun to see him dominating Zamasu and Gogeta was more enjoyable as a person when he fought evenly in Ssj against Broly. Gogeta uses Vegeta’s Saiyan Saga pose during the Broly Movie, but you can’t really say much about it. Which is why they’re more diverse and can’t really be labeled as mainly Goku and Vegeta. But you can say certain things look like one of them. But like you said one is mentally superior which gives them the edge in combat. Though I personally prefer Vegito’s confidence, it’s not everyday you even have someone strong enough to push Vegito.

I think gogeta and vegito would have the same transformations but not same attacks such as the stardust but that wouldn't work since it doesn't effect people with pure heart such as broly. (My opinion) Also I think vegito would win The reason why is because he has fought fusions only which if I'm right fusions make their power rise up unlike nonfused people well like broly Also I enjoy your videos!

@@kusona2476 they are essentially the same person with relatively the same moveset, but it appears Toei, and I guess by extension even Akira at this point and time, want to make sure they have certain differences. Where Vegito utilizes more Vegeta tactics and use of ki, Gogeta uses more of Goku's. My assumption is that the same principles that go into the Spirit Bomb are used in his Stardust Breaker. Where it will only hurt those with impure hearts, or evil-beings, and those that aren't have nothing to fear. If Vegito has more of a Vegeta-Esque personality(arrogant and cocky) he would probably not want to use such skills and would opt for the stuff he uses, the Ki sword. While I believe both are the same in power, Super's Canon is actually different. In Super the potara Fusion is A + B x10 as explained by Whis. And the Fusion dance is quite possibly still A x B. As Goku mentions the warrior produced from the Dance is greater than the sums of the 2 warriors. Meaning it's not simply adding their powers. It implies it multiplies it. Which is why the weak Goten and Trunks can handle Buu in their fused state. Super hasn't given the Dance a "power multiplier" yet. So we operate off of Z until further notice. Once it gets retconned then it will change. But (DBS) Gogeta > (DBS) Vegito. (DBZ) Vegito > (DBZ) Gogeta.. Since in Z the potara is permanent all Vegito would have to do is wait out Gogeta's Fusion, or simply pop into SSJ 3 and bait Gogeta into using it, shorten Fusion timer to 5 minutes and win by de-fusing them.

For starters, the video was amazing. I was glued to the srceen the whole time. I've been wondering about that question for a long time myself, about who is the stronger fusion out of the two. Personally, in terms of raw power I like to think Vegito is the stronger fusion. I mean if you look at all the opponents both the fusions have fought, Vegito has the more impressive line up, at least at first glance. I like to think Goku and Vegeta choose who to fuse into base on the situation, if they need someone to overpower and beatdown their opponent, then they go with Vegito like in the case of Zamasu or Buu. If they need someone who is quick and technical, to basically style or finesse on their opponent, then they go with Gogeta, like in the case of Janemba and Omega Shenron. However if these two went head to head in a no holds bar match, I think the winner would be Gogeta in my opinion. As the fight in the video showcased, Gogeta has a mindset that is a bit more strategic in nature then Vegito's. Vegito came off as thinking this was just another opportunity to show off, as if he was a model in a pageant or something. While Gogeta literally form the second he took to the field was analyzing and planning of ways to get the "W" he just has a mentality that makes him the winning pick for me. I'm not going to lie, Gogeta is my favorite fusion out of the two, but I'm willing to look at it objectively.

@@parzival3434 don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Vegito is dumb or anything. I mean they are both fusions who both have Vegeta in them, it's just I personally prefer the way Gogeta's tactics work over Vegito's. I mean look at your example for instance, yes getting Buu to absorb them so they can get there friends and family out, is a fine plan. But at the same time where did it land them? unfused, and inside of their most powerful enemy yet, I mean they did manage to get out, but what if they weren't so lucky? Yes they were under the impression the fusion would hold forever, and yes in that state they were leagues ahead of Buu in any of the forms he had. However I just feel like Gogeta could have come up with something that would have not been as risky, or at the very least, would have saved time. Again, just my opinion. Gogeta isn't perfect either, I mean don't forget a very similar situation played out in GT against Omega Shin, where Gogeta planned to make Omega so mad that he would use the negative karma ball against Gogeta. It still ended with them unfused, but at least they were closer to thier goal then Vegito was with Buu.

@@10-tailedrushmode8 Under the same mindset I say Gogeta would have probably done the same as vegito in the sense that the other option was to just kill buu and revive everyone if possible (I don't know if it was but probably depending on the dragon balls and how well stated their wish was). But let's just look at opinion 1. Gogeta knowing the time limit would have tried his best to have buu absorb and get out quickly (possibly leaving or killing fat buu). But the difficult part is actually making buu willing to absorb him. Knowing Gogeta serious attitude Buu most likely would have been far more cautious and wouldn't have thought absorbing him would been a easy feat at all. Vegito on the other used his cockiness to his advantage. It caused buu to see him as a very cocky individual and made him think it could set up a plan to absorb him (similar to gotenks). Which was all apart of the the plan. Though Vegito could quicken the situation a little faster, he has his own way of exploiting weaknesses and playing off of his disadvantages. He may be arrogant but he doesn't let his opponent take full advantage of that fact. Which is why he's far less cocky in his fight with Zamasu (going by the anime not the manga. He's cocky but not that cocky). If not for the the new time limit, zamasu half immortality and unknowingly short time ssb had, vegito would have finished it faster. I get that Vegito is cocky and arrogant like vegeta so Gogeta could exploit that fact, but knowing he's still part goku like Gogeta, that's not a weakness that be exploited that much. Vegito knows when it's time to get serious quickly and not let his arrogance control the fight. Plus I wonder why his spirit sword was never used in the fight even though it's extremely deadly.

We have to remember that Gogeta (in canon) was introduced at their highest peak of power. Both have been training since the TOP where they both reached new heights. Vegito is a different case. He was made last when fighting Zamasu. Perfected SSJB is relatively new and the best at the time was SSJB Kaioken x10. I would say they’re equal in power. But Vegito’s time limit is longer than the mere 30 minutes unlike Gogeta. If you were to have them fight if they came from the same time with the same people, it’s not clear who would win, but Vegito would definitely last longer. He’s also cocky and arrogant. The reason Gogeta Blue seemed so powerful was because he didn’t stop to play around, or bully him. He just went all-out on Broly. What makes this more difficult is the enemies. Broly seems more powerful than Zamasu, but Zamasu can’t really die. Though, they needed Zeno to erase Zamasu. I think Gogeta has the upper hand if the fusions were permanent, but if it was following canon Vegito would win.

gogeta is definitely superior he has some weird moves like the star dust that are wickedly powerful breaking dimensions with broly even fighting with janemba you can see that his move sets are not normal like vegito that fights just like goku and vegeta almost no differencve at all except for a few powers he throws like the final kamehameha but his style doesnt change that much of goku and vegeta but when gogeta fight you basically see a completely new person fighting , and vegito basically does the same moves that goku and vegeta do but combined, gogeta does the combine moves and has some of his own moves that neither goku or vegeta can do on there own. hell i bet gogeta can do the ghost move that gotenks does and vegito cant do that. and besides now that they completely remade the potara fusion its even weaker because now they cant even reach there full power because they will defuse just like in zamasu fight, but in fusion dance gogeta from what we saw in the movie can draw all his powers and not defuse for 30 minutes so that means he can draw all his powers in those 30 minutes.

But the moves you see on gogeta are different then any characters in DB there very unique.

I feel that this arc was very very good! One of the best ever!! However, I feel that this will always go to the way of Gogeta for the simple fact that Gogeta is predominantly Goku and Vegito is predominantly Vegeta. How it goes and how it always has been thus far, is that Goku always has the edge over Vegeta in the end. So, I say that Gogeta would have ultimately won it

While on the surface the two appear to be on equal footing, Gogeta is superior to Vegito for one very simple reason: Vegito has a power limit. ... The up-side to this is that Gogeta can fight with all his power, and even break through to his Super Saiyan Blue form without worrying about consequences. Straight from the source!!!
