Great video ! There was one aspect of MSI that was not mentioned, but still means a lot to me and the entire country of Vietnam. During MSI 2017, the GIGABYTE Marines (Now GAM Esports) qualified for MSI as a wildcard region for Southeast Asia (SEA) and showed amazing performances all around even pushing TSM to 5 games during the Play-In stage. To even qualify for MSI Play-In, they had to compete against the best teams in the SEA region first. This event was also where Vietnamese jungler Levi gained his fame. Because of their great performance during this MSI, Vietnam separated from the SEA league and became its own league, now the VCS. This also gave Vietnam 2 seeds at Worlds with one in the Play-In and one in the main group stage!

G2 vs TL in 2019 MSI finals lasted in total 71 minutes while 1 game of SKT vs SSG in 2016 finals lasted more than 71 minutes. Its crazy to see how the game has sped up

Hello. This is a decently made video and the algorithm appears to like it so good job. Correction, though: DoubleLift was not on 2017 TSM Spring. That was WildTurtle as DL took a split off to stream. 2018 was DoubleLift's first MSI.

You forgot 2014 - All Star Paris, which was the first all star event to have this format that was later adapted into MSI. 2014 was basically the first MSI under a different name

Appreciate the observation!! The main reasoning behind why I chose to not include it was primarily because All Stars branched off into its own event, so it could lead to some complications in tracking the history. Mainly, it was for clarity purposes but you are absolutely right! Hope you enjoyed regardless

I think it left out some good part of MSI back at 2013 it used to be semi serious with All Stars then turn to mid year competition in 2014 but still part of All Stars before the split and for 2020 we got Mid Season Cup where 4 LCK and LPL compete with TOP esports the winner

Thanks for the feedback!! I had this brought up by a couple other people as well. The reasoning behind All Stars was mainly because it branched into its own event while MSI existed, and as for TOP esports that was a mistake. Hopefully you enjoyed regardless

Pretty cool vid to watch and well edited, but I wish some of the accomplishments of the minor regions were mentioned such as GAM taking TSM to 5 games in 2017 or PGG being the first and only LCO/OCE team to ever escape a group stage in 2021

Just a quick note, you said that Doublelift was knocked out with a 4-6 record on two different teams in back to back years. This isn't accurate because Wildturlte was the ADC for TSM in 2017 Spring. Doublelift had actually taken a break and was loaned out to Team Liquid to help them avoid relegation that split. Doublelift was never at MSI in 2017

small advice that can make your videos feel more "legit". your mic is a bit dull. clicking your video after listening to other high-quality productions, you can immediately hear the difference in quality/clarity. if you have a phone released within the last 2 years, you should use that camera in 1080p instead. I don't know what camera you are using but it certainly doesnt look 1080p. just trying to be helpful sorry if i offended you in any way. besides those 2 things this was a GREAT video! it felt like theScore Esports with your professional writing/delivery and the content-filled editing.
