The ENTIRE Lore of Hot N Cold and Rasputin from Just Dance 

Fun fact: Rasputin’s avatar in JD23 has the caption “Yeah, I was in a boy band, but we all have a past, right?” And I like to think that the map for YMCA is actually Rasputin and the boy band he is in performing.

Anyone else noticing how Avery has her hair like Sweet But Psycho?

I like to believe that Rasputin was just late and was stuck in traffic and that hot and cold was just dancing for hours

Fun fact; It may not be much, but when you watch Sweet but Psycho with no hud, you can see at the end that Rasputin points to his right side and then runs of screen. As if someone is still at the wedding avenue

"He thought he could break them out of prison, and go back in time for his wedding" Translates to: He took a calculated risk, but boy was he bad at math💀💀

My theory is quite long so have fun reading: Rasputin and The Bride met at the TGIF party, and she helped Liza Friday unleash her true self. In ALL-STARS mode, they also met but were like friends. During that journey, Rasputin also met Body Movin' and danced with her a bit. In Sugar, they got married. Now we know that in JD23: Night Swan kidnaps Liza Friday and unleashes minions into the TGIF world (we can see the portal in the background), so its most likely that she also went to the original maps of Hot N Cold and Rasputin. The stained glass coaches in the Just Dance map may represent Icona Shard's friends, so while she was in prison she tried to warn them about Night Swan coming, a reason that Rasputin could've been late to the wedding was that he was fleeing from the attack. The reason why The Bride became corrupted is that she had suffered a lot of trauma: she saw Liza Friday turn into a minion, Rasputin went missing on her wedding day and most likely Night Swan's energy affected her negatively, changing her.

I have a different theory. It does related to Body Movin’. Maybe the bride misunderstood the situation of Hungarian Dance No.5. She got so jealous and she maybe thought Rasputin was a cheater. That’s why she’s going psycho, thus Sweet but Psycho.

My theory is actually quite similar to that! I think icona shard called rasputin to get her out of jail on his wedding day, and he agreed. He was making his way to the prison , yet in fear of being captured by the night Swan, he backed out. This explains Why he came back to the wedding at the end of sweet but psycho, and why icona was so mad she was able to break all the gaga coaches out of jail.

It's crazy how one rhythm game can have so much lore

I have a little experience in animation and videogame design There is always lore behind the scenes, characters will always have names and backstory, not too complex, just enough So, as a fellow animator im glad to see this information become "public"

I have a theory that Rasputin was captured by night swan, by him getting freed with everyone else at the end of majesty, that would explain why he’s not at the altar for their wedding. Sweet but psycho would start mid way through majesty, Rasputin getting back right after the song ended and the bride left before he could make it. This would also explain why he’s looking around confused at the end of the song.

My theory (in parts): 1-The day before the wedding, Hot N Cold discovered that Rasputin was cheating on her, so she came up with a plan to kill him In revenge. 2-First she tried to poison him, but it didn't work. -“So, someone said ‘Don’t drink her potions’” (Sweet But Psycho) -“They put some poison into his wine (…). He drank it all and said ‘I feel fine’” (Rasputin) 3-Seeing that it didn't work, she took a gun and shot him. -“‘Grab a cop gun’ kinda crazy” (Sweet But Psycho) -“And so they shot him til he was dead” (Rasputin) 4-Thinking that Rasputin was dead, Hot N Cold expelled all the guests and took out his anger by destroying the place, what she didn't know was that he had pretended to be dead and fled from that place. -“Oh, those russians…”

I LOVE THIS THEORYYYY it’s totally the best I’ve heard and I’m CONVINCED it’s right - I always assumed that something went wrong with the wedding but it was unintentional, hence why Rasputin came back for the bride at the end of SbP

Theory: What if Night Swan IS the Bride, and is using her Anger against those she was friends with before as they may also be friends with Rasputin.

I think the coach from Never Gonna Give You Up kidnapped Rasputin to delay the wedding and break up Rasputin and the bride. Rasputin escaped but arrived at the wedding and realised he was too late. Leading to a duet with Never Gonna Give You Up and the bride, halfway through they're kidnapped by Night Swan and now it's up to Rasputin to save the just dance universe and his girl.

I think what happened is that Icona was calling Rasputin to chew him out for missing The Bride’s wedding and that his tardiness is the result of an entirely separate event

My theory is: The bride showed up on the wedding venue and was shocked rasputin wasnt there, since rasputin left everyone left the wedding venue this caused the bride to destroy everything in the weddng angry that rasputin didnt show up, why rasputin left? oh, well its part of avery’s theory Rasputin was busy trying to break the gaga coaches out of prison and when icona heard that he had a wedding she was p*ssed and broke them out of prison and when rasputin came to their prison he was shocked that the lady gaga coaches were not there since icona already broke them out of prison and when he was trying to go back to the wedding venue it was already late and the end of the story is bassicly the cliffhanger on sweet but psycho

Heres my take on the theory Rasputin was just a introduction to him, no story explained in this, Hot n cold will appear later Ok so personally it wasn't Rasputin Cheating it was a breakup, let me create a timeline for you So they first met in TGIF And they talked, they became good friends and still hung out Theres a massive timeskip not explained during this time Sugar then happened and married another skip happened and they decided to break up, Rasputin and Hot n cold were both sad from this here is what they did Rasputin moved on healthier, he went to Y.M.C.A and became healthier Eventually he found Body Movin And they came together Meanwhile Hot n cold wasnt taking this Breakup well and was venting in Hot n cold Eventually went insane with sadness hence Sweet but psycho Keep in mind I think this is after The 2023 Danciverse War I think TGIF was good friends with Hot n cold and told Rasputin what was happening Rasputin was driving to where TGIF told Rasputin Hot n colds location and was driving there Meanwhile Hot n cold was destroying the venue and Rasputin came to late I think Hot n cold and Rasputin have NOTHING to do with Telephone feels too farfetched Tell me what you think about my theory in replies

I have a crazy theory, what if icona shards was Rasputins ex and he was in a boy band. That seems crazy but from one of the games his icon says “yea I was in a band, but we all have our pasts, right?”. Also Icona Shards was calling someone in the stained glass windows right? She might have Been trying to call him but he was busy getting ready for his wedding so she called the boy band Rasputin was in. They called him after he was done getting ready so he went to the band and got his makeover and helped icona out of jail thinking he would get back to his wedding in time but he got there right after the bride left heartbroken. My theory about the bride is that while she was getting ready for the wedding so many of her friends were gone so her and Lisa Friday got ready but while they were looking at a dress for Lisa, night swan turned her into another one of her minions. The bride saw that and ran somewhere back to the wedding venue to prepare. She left to get her hair done for the wedding and knew that she was going to get married when she got back. She came back but Rasputin wasn’t there and night swan saw that as an opportunity to corrupt the bride so she did of course. That triggered trauma she had already had experienced so night swan harnessed that trauma to turn the bride into that and to make her act that way. Sry for the really really long theory.
