@@enyaq_gorm Thank you for asking. We are currently experiencing some challenges in finalizing the OTA update ME3.1. The whole update must undergo thorough safety checks and homologation process before a roll-out - cars with older versions of software have different hardware so it is not only about installing a new version existing already in new cars. We should have more information this month. Apologies for the delay.
Thanks so much for these videos. I’m expecting delivery of the iV 60 in a couple of weeks, our first EV. Was a bit anxious about charging on long journeys (we’re in London, occasionally travel to see family in Newcastle), but your videos have really helped with what to expect. (I know the iV 80 would be better for us in terms of range, but we took advantage of a good lease deal). Thanks again for the content.
Thank you very much. It's this sort of comment that confirms for me that it's worth the effort. I know I learned so much about EVs from you tubers before I bought one so I'm just trying to reassure people that it's all OK to get one, and to show you don't need to spend the extra to get an 80.
Hey, thanks for your videos. I just bought an enyaq - your content helped me understand what its like to live with one - felt like I understood the pros and cons when making a decision! For what it's worth I think you'd be great at explaining more general "living with an EV" stuff - how charging networks work, what battery voltage means for charge rate, and other stuff that might feel obvious to you now. Its all stuff I'd not really considered and I bet others are looking for no-nonsense intros to this stuff too.
Thank you! So glad they are useful. Yes I might well do that. As you say stuff that's obvious to me after 5 years of driving an ev might be useful for people. Just need to fit it in round work and family commitments.
Looks like a good app, especially if the functionality where you can just plug in and the car will start charging without having to go into other apps or find the card. Looking forward to trying it out when I finally get the software update.
A very nice video. Thank you (@Enyaq Gorm) very much. A small tip for you, if you tap on a charging station on the map, a window opens on the right side, press on the white bar to the left of this window or swipe the window to the left. There is more to discover there.
Hey, Thanks for the video. Can you advise if the prices shown in the powerpass map/app are generally correct? I've got the freebie powerpass account as we generally charge at home. However ive noticed that Osprey/BP Pulse chargers are showing 60p/kWh yet they are 79p/kWh on zapmap. I'm hoping the powerpass price is what I'll be able to pay if i use the rfid card.
Yes powerpass prices are correct. Look at your subscription section and it will tell you. Mine has just run out and I'm not doing many work trips just now so I've not renewed my subscription
@@enyaq_gorm And you are 100% correct. The basic, totally free, no subscription Skoda Powerpass is 25p cheaper at BP Pulse chargers. Saved me £7 for 28kWh today!
Hello thanks got the videos. I think u said u used to have a Tesla before do u mind me asking why u changed to the enyaq. I hav an Iv80 but the efficiency is still very bad and my wife is driving it locally taking it easy. Last year the range was an extra 100km every time. It seems to b since the 3.0 update Thanks
Tesla was badly built tesla were reluctant to fix it, and the software was terrible, used to swerve across the road, slam on the brakes for no reason and the wipers had a mind of their own. My efficiency has got better since 3.0.
Just one more question sorry I see under ur since charging menu u hav miles/kWh it’s second from the bottom. Mine says kWh/100km is there a way of changing this to km/kWh do u know thanks again
Just a quick one totally unrelated to this video subject, I have just taken delivery of a Skoda enyaq iv60 last week and have noticed that whenever going over speed bumps or any imperfections in the road at more than 5-10mph I hear a loud bang as if the car is bottoming out. Have you ever come across this as I’m wondering if it’s normal or not? Thanks in advance 😊
@@enyaq_gorm I called into Skoda and turns out they had left the transportation blocks on the front suspension, all sorted now and drives perfectly! :)
@@mattanderson2219hi, I am glad you wrote this comment, I have had my Enyaq 60 for more then an year now and ever since I bought there has been that bang coming from the left suspension. I think it comes from the rear left. I got it checked in the dealership but they said it was a normal suspension noise. I would like to ask about this transportation blocks, whta are they? I had it checked again 2 months ago as had done 20K miles, nothing was found but the notice is still there. Thank you in advance for your. Also if I may ask, what is the last Software Version, I have 3.1 on the car infotainment, is this this the latest?
@@evaddicted3224 I think 3.1 is the latest 👍 and the transportation blocks sit on the suspension underneath the rubber parts on the suspension rods, Skoda said that there was nothing wrong with mine initially but I had them re check it there and then and another technician checked and found that the blocks were still installed. Mine drives so much better now over bumps and handles much better overall 😁 hopefully you can get the issue resolved 👍
