I love the detail in the writing $9800.00 The baddies lowballed it by calling it 9000 Robert is precise calling it 9800 And the girl calls it almost 10,000 Ann interesting detail in charachters unique perceptions.

I watched the old Equalizer TV show with Edward Woodward when I was a teenage way back in the '80s. When I saw that a movie version with Denzell was made, I HAD to see it! It's still one of my favorites, and I love seeing awful people getting what's coming to them, whether it's 1984 or 2014!

The Equalizer 2 is the only sequel that Denzel has ever done. Amazing actor, equally good at playing either the hero or the villain. You should watch Deja Vu as quite entertaining and it's often overlooked among Denzel's films.

Denzel looked tired in equalizer 2 and movie was all over the place imo - but 100% agree with your Deja Vu recommendation. I also loved Out of Time, Fallen, Flight, Devil in a Blue Dress, Fences.

I was big fan of the original TV show from the 80s. Character and the overall plot was similar but with some major differences. It doesn't matter though because the movie delivered in its own way and the bigger surprise was the sequel delivered as good, if not even more than the 1st movie. Looking forward to your reaction of EQ2. You'll love it, I guarantee it.

You know I saw an interview with Mike Baron, who is one of the most important writers of the Marvel's Punisher comics. In it he said while he was a huge fan of Jon Bernthal's portrayal, his favorite Punisher movie was actually The Equalizer 1 and 2. I thought that thats pretty interesting way to view this film and its sequel.

Be sure to check out the sequel, because it's every bit as good. You know, I always shake my head at the scene where he confronts Nicolai 1-on-1 in the restaurant. From that moment on, the guy should've KNOWN beyond any doubt that he had ZERO chance against McCall. I guess he was afraid of what Pushkin would do to him if he resigned...the ultimate "between a rock and a hard place" scenario.

Denzel is a badass in this movie, based on the 1980's TV series of the same name, about a former CIA operative turned vigilante. There's even a CBS reboot of this series with Queen Latifah as Robin McCall, and it takes place in the same universe.

This was one of the first movies i remember where the good guy doesn't go for or need a gun. He often ignores guns to make the kill with something more personal. Almost like using a gun would be too easy. Nobody really took off on this and other movies are starting as well.

Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors hands-down, alongside Keanu Reeves. those two men are just built different than the rest of the other actors and how they act off the screen if you know what I mean.

Equalizer 2, because the Third one new one is coming. Plus Man on Fire , Book of Eli, And of course training day are all great. Denzel Washington is by far the best actor. He takes a 2 week retreat before every movie he makes before hand and gets into character. That's how he rolls

He folds the tea bag into the napkin because he has a bit of OCD. The Equilizer has spent decades as a Special Ops guy that likely progressed his OCD. He is particular about certain things. Like timing his kill, rearranging the mob bosses desk, and closing the door 3 times, then locking it b4 going to work on the Russians.

Ive seen all Denzels movies...their all Great.You know Devin,Denzel talks at colleges and high schools to the young and tries to teach them how to be a responsible human being in their lifetimesmto think for themselves and not to be a follower.The man donates to the Military also.I wish all Hollywood actors were more like him.God Bless Devin.Oh yeah,watch his movie The taking of Pelem 123 and Deja Vu..a great scary movie.Youll like these to I promise.
