Hey Ronnie Great video as usualI anyway I was wondering What is your opinion on the Exedy twin disk clutch versus the ACT twin disk clutch Which one do you like more? And last but not least what are the modifications If possible that you can do on a Evo X That will still be able to get horsepower but pass smog. Intake, intercooler, cat back, bigger Turbo?
Wonder how much the evo made with that setup im looking to build mine I’m slowly getting it together and looking to see what Numbers ima get with the build
Hey do you mind if you can help me out I think my car in limp mode it’s not building boost at all and feels sooooooo slow like barley 100whp and all the piping and couplers are fine as well as all the vacuum hoses and boost hoses are good nothing wrong with it it been driving me crazy the past 2 days I tired all kinds off things to fix it but still nothing’s and turbo is fine no shaft play and spins freely
Do you use Magnus Mivec exhaust cam delete at all or just leave the stock exhaust cam phaser on there. I'm referring to higher horsepower builds not FBO?
Hey Roni Built, I have a question for you, I’m the owner of a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution x MR, I’m the first owner, I Purchase same brand new, currently I have done a couple upgrade, such remove and replace a ETS 3” Intercooler with pipe etc, Maperformance Evo x 3” Cold Air Intake, HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve and a Evo x Inline filter kit, currently I purchase a Tomei 3” Widemouth Down Pipe and a Tomei Titanium Extreme Titanium Straight Pipe and a Grim Speed electronic boost control solenoid, if I add all these parts to car, do I have to do Pro-Tune. ?
The hks SQ BOV is a no go on the MRs. The ecu used the MAF sensor for load calculations, dumping excess air to atmosphere will cause it to under calculate and the ecu will use the lower of the the two calcs. Maf and Map. Lower load causes lower clutch pack pressures. It's best to have a recirculated system.
I haven't seen many windowed evo X 4B11 blocks compared to the 4G over the years.. hardly any really! they have stronger rear diff too! all things equal 4B will make easier safer power
Old post, but still to answer. Hell to the hell no no... SST will need basic upgrades like the spring hub, magnets, clutch disks, etc... but afterwards I believe it will be a strong long lasting reliable transmission. If you don't, you will eventually and fairly quickly break it.
