I don’t understand why y’all jumped from Adam straight to Cole 🤦🏽♀️ that is not all that’s to her story! She was alone for a while with just her and Aubree. She got her GED, went to college and graduated! That is when she truly found herself and started loving herself!! That should’ve been the biggest part of her story! After she found herself she found Cole!
That's true she was really focused on her daughter and making a better life for herself without a man one of the few on this show who really tried on her own with her parents support because they were are great support for her especially her dad.
Chelsea hit the jackpot with her dad! He was definitely made to be a girl dad. He's so kind, calm and patient with a the teenage girl drama. I hope my husband is the same when our 3 girls become emotionally dramatic teenage girls.
The fact that Cole always buys Aubree flowers and dresses up for dances and is just an active father is bringing me to tears. She is going to grow up and know what true love is.

Bit bummed they skipped Chelseas whole glow up where she found her look and she was getting over Adam and was single and it was just her and Aubree for that little while before she met Cole because I feel like that was a big part of Chelseas story. Yes I totally agree. They jumped right from her wanting Adam to her being with Cole. There was many years in between where she “found herself” and had a glow up for sure.
Cole is such a good guy! She literally went from being unappreciated to being so adored. I love that for her so much! She is a sweetheart through and through.
Adam may be her biological father, but Cole will be the one walking Aubree down the aisle at her own wedding. Cole is Aubree's daddy in every sense but the egg and sperm.
At this point I think that Aubree is old enough to fully grasp the fact that Adam is nothing more than a sperm donor and she’s starting to get used to the idea of Cole being a real dad to her. And who knows maybe someday she’ll want Cole to fully adopt her. Who knows. But I’m proud of Chelsea for letting her make that descision on her own instead of making it for her.

I love how Randy never coddled her relationship with Adam but when he spoke with her about it he admonished it with a gentle tone. She had to go through it but eventually realized he was right. That probably helped her to respect him more.
I always thought this. He was never mean about it, but he always delivered her the facts and you can tell he said it from a place of genuine love and caring for her. I feel like Macy and Chelsea have the best glow ups in the series. They got pregnant young by total douchebags but they ended up finding someone who truly loves them and is a great father figure to their children. They’re happy while their exes look miserable.
And they had more kids with the guy they married and haven't gotten divorced. Not trying to hate on the other girls, but those two were a lot smarter and grew a lot more in the right direction.
It’s because they had stable lives before they got pregnant. Parents that were there for them financially and for emotional support. It’s really over looked a lot. Not to say that Maci and Chelsea don’t deserve their wonderful lives but it’s also not fair to judge the other girls who didn’t have that advantage

The other girls had shitty childhoods and you can tell but look at Caitlynn: her mom was a druggy, dad not present, no support, financially broke, etc. but she still made it work with Tyler. Sometimes it's about making the right choices and wanting a better life for your future children. I know many people with a terrible childhood but they are stable and very loving parents. Intelligence and mental health also plays a large role. Janelle has schizophrenia and Cailyn is book smart but she keeps looking for love in kids because they will love her forever unlike her alcoholic mom and dad beat dad.

JACK UZI that’s your opinion and I respect that but I think Chelsea has really grown up a lot. Yes she grew up with a wealthy dad who pretty much spoiled her and paid for everything but as she has gotten older and found Cole, she has grown into an amazing woman and mother. I think Cole is the best thing that’s happened to her. We only see snippets of their life. We don’t know what happens off camera. Cole is just pretty easy going where Chelsea can be a little high strung (and has admitted her major anxiety which I totally understand considering I have it also). Now they are expecting another baby and I think it’s amazing. I think Cole stepped up and really helped raise Aubrey and show her a good father figure that Adam wasn’t showing. Chelsea doesn’t need to turn Aubrey against Adam... Adam did that himself. He is a mess and doesn’t even see his other daughter. He just isn’t “mature” enough to be a dad. It’s sad bc Aubrey knows Adam is her dad but doesn’t seem to care about her. Granted I don’t know the whole story but from what has been shown, it’s for the best Adam isn’t really in her life. He needs to get himself straight first. Cole has truly stepped up and treats Aubrey like his own, from day one. I have a lot of respect for him.

He's great, but a huge enabler. if you would have kept his word, he would have right away made Chelsea start paying her own rent and utilities once Adam moved in. if you would have stuck to his guns, she would have been out of the Adam drama months and months before she actually was.

Her dad is such a hero for being there through the tough parts. A LOT of dads don’t want daughters at the thought of this kind of situation possibly happening. He helped his daughter grow up into a strong and happy woman. Honestly adore her dad so much, and hope one day my future husband treats our future daughter that way too.
Cole & Randy are REAL EXAMPLES OF MEN! It broke my heart seeing Chelsea and Aubrey getting treated so terribly by Adam and being so broken over him. I'm so happy she realized her self worth, worked on herself and her beautiful daughter, and then eventually met Cole. Her confidence in herself and how different she seems after eradicating toxicity in her life (even with Adam's abusive mom) is so nice to see. She is a phenomenal mother and woman! Cole is the father Aubrey deserves and the husband Chelsea deserves. Randy has been her and Aubrey's rock through anything and everything and should win an award for being the greatest support system. It is beautiful to see Chelsea's glow up and her gorgeous family and winning at life and stacking those mtv checks whereas Adam is somewhere shooting/smoking meth, broke, and looking dusty af.

Hearing her dad talking her through her issues back when this aired, I was a teen myself with 2 absent parents & his perspective used to make me so emotional it would move me to tears. I HAAAATED IT as a young teen because I felt weak & vulnerable but it’s just because a lot of the things her dad told her were things I needed to hear myself from my own father but never got to hear from him. So I agree.

wow🥺I’m currently in high school myself I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I broke up with my ex. Literally that same day he started dating someone else. We lasted for almost 2 years:/ he just walked out that door like nothing while I held it open for him. Literally. Hasn’t even tried to know how the baby is. I don’t need him. Neither does my baby. But I miss having him around. But a lot of people have been supportive of me and given me great advice. It’s amazing that kind hearted people still exist..🥰 thank you for this. At first she was crying sad tears, then she was crying happy tears. I love these kind of stories, same as Maci's, the boys are so cocky and happy at first when the girlfriend dumps them and the girl is miserable. Then the girl ends up finding a lovely man, and the ex boyfriend ends up ageing 20 years with nothing going for them!
Grow up might of been a poor choice of words considering her son is very immature but I feel like Chelsea and Maci both had a lot in common with dead beat baby dads but I feel like they both hold a lot of resentment that gets taken out on the paternal grandparents....we unfortunately only get to see an edited version of what MTV wants us to see....

Someone I'd met in passing years ago strolled back into my life in the most unexpected way, and I cannot believe how different my world is. I've had more new experiences with him and traveled to more corners of this country in the last year with him than I have in the last 10 years combined. And I actually have friends now, an amazing group of them. I'm happy. Actually happy. I can't believe I'm able to say that. I completely forgot about making this comment. I'm so glad you replied. The mental abuse Chelsea suffered from Adam could’ve been life changing….well, it was, because with the help of her dad and family, she realized her worth and she had such a drive to make Aubree’s life great, that she opened her heart and found Cole. She needed to go through Adam before she had that future. The era with Adam taught her a lot about herself and gave her the standards of what she wanted in life. It sucks that a lot of us have to go through tough times to build our character, but it works out in the end

I love Cole for stepping up and protecting Aubrey. He seems to really understand the effect Adam’s inconsistency and abuse could have on her and constantly treats her the way any daughter should be treated.
Omg mine too! When my oldest daughter’s dad cheated on me and left me, I dad threatened to bury him in their backyard lol. Granted he would never have done that but he definitely went into major protective mode.

The worst thing was that my mother was always on his side which is absolutely mind blowing and my dad could not stand him anymore but the only thing he ever did was telling me that he wasn’t welcome in our home anymore. I am over it now but I will still never forget that my parents were not there for me and did not stand up for me either. Luckily I left all of that behind me now and I found a man who treats me like a princess. Don’t ever let your father make you feel bad for the choosing your baby daddy. You would have probably made different decisions if you had had a better relationship with your dad which was mainly his responsibility. @@headkandywhore oh girl I could write a book! My parents disowned me when I got pregnant and didn’t take to me for almost 3 years, and didn’t meet my oldest until he was 2. My kids father was abusive in every way, and we were dirt poor, we didn’t even have furniture in our subsidized apartment. I ate every other day when I was pregnant. This was 14 years ago now so we got past it (and thankfully I haven’t had contact with my kids’ father in 12 years) but I’ll always hold a little resentment.

😭 i lost it at their wedding when they played Aubrey's message during their first dance. Chelsea definitely has been the most responsible/successful as far as making a normal life for her and Aubree. She didn't rush into a marriage with the first guy that came around. Sheet waited until she had grown up a bit and until she found a great guy who is an amazing father for Aubree. She hasn't been the center of a bunch of scandals. She's definitely a teen mom success story.
