OH MY GOSH!! Thank you so much for making this doable!! I was getting so frustrated with all the other color coding systems! I wasn’t getting anything out of what I was reading.

I don't use highlighters because I will sometimes mark a phrase, then a word in a phrase, etc. So 1 word can get marked 2-3 times. So I have a simple color code - any notes I write about the history of the culture, the book or author, etc is in purple. Definitions of words/names or root words are in blue. And the scarlet thread in the OT is red. Then all my other notes are just whatever color just jumps out at me - with the corresponding note in the margin outlined in the same color. If that makes sense.

Oh my goodness thank you!! Thank you for sharing this!!!! I want to highlight my bible and take notes so I can dig deeper in my word, but it’s been overwhelming. This is easy, and my brain can keep up.

I just started following your channel (and Instagram and fb group 😉) Thank you for your realness and for keeping this simple! I live with ADHD and have a hard time 1. Reading long lengths at a time. I jump around just as you said you do. And 2. keeping notes without it being too messy and hard to read later on. This system will make it much easier on the eyes and make it esier to understand when I come back later to review the parts I've already went through. This is truly such a help to me! I absolutely love this color code system. I've read the Bible here and there, but I never studied it (I gave my life to Jesus 5 years ago), because everytime I felt so overwhelmed by all the color codes I came across on RU-vid and in blogs. This is a game changer and I'm ready to finally dig deeper and start studying the word.

Ugh, I needed this so much !! Thank you for making it super simple and easy !! I tried to go to other RU-vid but they have like 20 color codes and I am NOT that far into my walk to understand all of that, I just want something simple and easy, that I can be quick and soak up the word instead of trying to make it perfect by yellow means a. omg YES! the struggle is so real yo!!! that is my biggest problem since i first started looking up how to highlight in my Bible! I've wasted so many hours and days looking for the right highlighting system! i always ended up contemplating way too long about what color to use for what. for everything! i get so distracted looking for different highlighting whatever you call it that i would be off in a tangent (is that right?) waaaay out in left field downloading all kinds of stuff! while its always Bible Study material, it strips my focus on Gods Word! this is one of my hardest things to break. so now i have sooooo much of everything & not enough time in Gods Word! but I love your systems! sorry don't know why this turned into a novel but yea so the struggle is real!

I don't however you may be able to choose a different setting on your printer and choose the layout size. All printers are different so I'm not sure how that would work. But just a thought ❤️

Just curious....have you ever heard of the SOAP idea? That’s when you read a section or chapter of the Bible and SOAP it. SOAP stands for S-Scripture (the scripture you want to focus on); O-Observation (What stock out to you, what did you observe); A-Application (how does this apply to you or how do you want to make it apply to you); and P-Prayer (write a small prayer about it). Just wanted to share that technique with you. Not trying to change anything.....just wanted to share it. 😊

Be careful with the erasable highlighters, in heat they dissapear!! So if you leave your Bible in the car on a hot day all your markings will be gone!!! I have switched to using gel hghlighters...and I love them so far!!!

Yes! I learned this the hard way with some different erasable pens that I have and my heat gun when I was adding art to my prayer journal! The art work and prayer disappeared!! 😕 Blessings sister! ♥️

I was so excited when I found this to learn how to highlight my Bible, but unfortunately, you go so fast I can’t keep up. You showed a Highlighting key for Bible Journaling (APP), yet when I paused the tv to write it down, much is covered up with stuff on the screen. I thought you mentioned there would be a link to a printable key… but I sure can’t find it on this page. Unfortunately, your tips aren’t made for people like me with a learning disability. I’ll try to find it somewhere online. Thanks anyway for trying to help.

You will need to go to Biblehub.com or another website that has the Bible on it, and possibly copy and paste to a word or Google document to print off sections of the Bible. ♥️
